Anybody watching? It's 7-0 USF. They drove the ball down the field easily. It's on espn

Pitt took the opening KO and ripped off 50 yds in 6 plays before fumbling the ball away on USF's 33. The Bulls then scored in 9 plays.

I don't know how this game is gonna end, but I think this show a combination of how good our defense and how inept our offense is right now. These offenses don't look like they're going to be stopped by these defenses

USF seems to well in the turn over category. I can't remember which game it was, but I heard their Defense had 5 takeaways in it.

Pitt drove down the field and Sunseri ran in a touchdown to make it 7-7. Panthers driving again.

What outcome is best for the Irish? In my opinion, I think the best possible outcome is that USF and Michigan win their respective conferences. So in this case I would say that USF winning is the best outcome for the Irish.

Pitt's pretty close to being 4-0. Maybe they aren't as bad as we all think they are? Look good so far against SF.

Finishing the season 10-2 is the best outcome!

Agreed. There's not a lot of room for our win against pitt to look that much better. A win against a 6-6 Pitt looks nearly the same as a win against an 8-4 Pitt. However, a loss to a 10-2 conference champion, BCS USF team looks a lot better than a loss to a 8-4 or 7-5 Little Pizza John Caesar's Toilet Bowl USF team, imo

I'm in the minority here, but I've always liked the Big East. If Penn State had joined way back when, then ND might've joined, and FSU and Miami would've stay and boom, you've got one of the best conferences in the country.

Just saw the banner at one end of Pitt's stadium that says "Nine Time National Champions". Is that true? I was not aware that Pitt had that great of a football tradition

"Among the top schools in terms of all-time wins,[24] Pitt teams have claimed nine national championships[25] and boast 87 players that have been chosen as first-team All-Americans" (wikipedia.org).

Best outcome is for ND to win 'em all and the two teams we lost to, to win 'em all. If Pit beats USF you can make an argument that we beat Pit who beat USF "to avenge our loss" but I don't buy that argument. ND beat themselves in weeks 1 and 2 against formidable opponents. Nobody else beating them for us counts - except in the computers which do count IF we're in the BCS picture.

Is it just me, or does South Florida look a little slower on D then they did against ND?

8 of those 9 came between 1910 and 1937.

So I'm glad we didn't run into this team last week.

I think we did. But we stuffed the run and rushed the passer. USF should not have been a loss for us. This game just makes that fact a little more agonizing to deal with. Whatever, onward and upward.. 10-2

Does this make our defensive performance from last week seem better, or what? I still don't think S. Florida is bad. They're obviously out of the top-25, but they aren't bad. Pitt's offense looks really good, and our defense made them look bad.

Pitt crushed USF, that shocks me. 44-17? Wow. Graham runs for well over 200 yards.
