Someone bent on killing a large number of people isn't even going to think about a knife.

Do you think some nut job that is intent on killing a large number of people is worried about a law? They are going to modify the weapon regardless. The only people a law like this would affect would be the law abiding citizen that never even thought of modifying their weapon.

He says:

I woud rather someone use a knife than a fully automatic rifle, if you can't see the logic there then I can't help you.

But after 5 seconds of this...

He'd be wishing the perp had chosen this instead.

So what you are saying is you would rather bring a knife to a gun fight?

The knife may cause more pain to an individual, but you can definitely harm more people with a gun. You see that right? That is what he was saying.

Have you seen the average Mac user? They are weak little *****es. PC Master Race wins easy.

What is this "easy" of which you speak?

Had the folks at Apple had competent legal advice and patented their graphical (point and click) user interface rather than copyrighted or trademarked (whichever, whatever) it, MS/DOS would never have had a chance to leave their barracks.

Go wallow in a field of Bison patties!!!

And if my aunt had balls......

I'll be honest...you don't see them unless you make a point to go check them out.

The New York Times editorial board has now blamed conservative Christians for the attack. If only somebody here on IE had predicted that this would happen...

This is actually easily explicable as a function of the needs of the Democratic party. The party is made up of a bunch of groups that dislike each other but dislike the "traditional American" type (e.g. Romney) even more. This leads to absurd contradictions: for example, the media's decision to blame the 2008 California marriage vote on Mormons, who apparently can control decisions made by L.A. County voters, while the obvious explanation -blacks and Hispanics voted for the measure- was ignored.

Similarly here: the media has decided to turn this into a 'gay hate crime,' and blame Republicans, even though (1) the killer scouted out various places to do this, such as Disney World, that are not specifically for gays; and (2) what this has in common with other attacks in San Bernadino, Boston, Ft. Hood, etc., is not that the victims are mainly gay but that the perpetrator is Muslim. But since Muslims are mainly Democrats, we have to ignore that and blame Republicans. So what seems insane in the first instance actually makes political sense.

That article was a waste of my time.

In his lagest speech Donald Trump explained how the people in Orlando would have been able to fight back if only they were armed themselves. In the Wild F'ing West they understood that Alcohol and guns did not mix and were forbidden from saloons.

There could scarcely a worse place to have people packing than somewhere that's dark, crowded, where people are drinking. The logic is astounding.

While I agree with your sentiment, I wholeheartedly disagree with your use of the term "retard."

There are better and more appropriate ways to describe the clown that is The Donald.

Benghazi.

Watched 13 hours last weekend. I can't tell you how many times I said Fxxx Hilary and Obama. If that movie is remotely true, one of the biggest bung hole jobs of our government EVER.

No doubt man.

I'd vote for Al Sharpton before Killary.

He'd do a better job.

That's about where I'm at.

Loved the small part where the folks under attack were aware of the BS story that the Administration was spinning.

From the Administration not giving the base adequate support and fire power in the first place, to the lack of support and acknowledgement during the situation,,, just sickening.

I'd say any Muslim that holds Muhammad sinless (in a literal interpretation of the Hadiths/Quran, as Islam directs) is a problem. Muhammad was a scumbag whose directives became more violent as he increased in power. He was a pedophile, murderer, and warlord (according to the Hadiths). Anyone who treats him as other than an imperfect and violent historical figure who brought about a mixed bag of social change is someone who is incompatible with Western morality. Given that the Hadiths explain the directive of the Prophet to modern Muslims to stone gays, I don't know how the perpetrator could be said to be anything but a loyal disciple of Muhammad.

Oh ... not a nut job, but an Islamic nutjob. Should I be more frightened of one than the other? C'mon man, if someone can shoot my kids I care less about their beliefs and more about how easy it is for them to get a gun. It's easier to pass gun laws than to affect a person's beliefs.

We should be frightened of anyone causing harm to our loved ones. My suggestion was to look at recent history and ask yourself what's more likely: Dylan Roof white supremacist unloading or "XYZ" guy detonating a bomb in a train, mall, club, etc.?

Also, enforcing the immigration laws we ALREADY have on the books is easier than trying to get the country and Congress on board with new gun legislation.

The country wants new laws ... and we are having an election in November.

What the bloody fucking hell does that have to do with "retard" or Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton or Bill Clinton, for that matter?

FerFuckingChrissakes, "a gun doesn't kill people" without a "people" buying, loading, toting and pulling the trigger to fire said harmless hunk of blue steel.
