Dragged this from another thread. I get that Watt shouldn't have done that but this just strikes me as completely nuts. Was this a situation where Watt was just being a loyal idiot and thought HH could help or was Quinn's coaching so bad he thought this was his best option? Anyone have more on this? I guess the possiblity of Quinn being this bad without Kelly realizing it and/or addressing it is just too hard to believe.
I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when this became known by Quinn and the rest of the staff.
I think there was some talk on the Mike Assaf Twitter Space that Quinn is a good coach, but he's experienced some health issues recently. Don't know the story on that, but I honestly haven't been that impressed. He struggled to get the OL together in 2019 I think, and it took half a season to right the ship here too (And we don't know how much of that was the up tempo offense negating the struggles). I hope we find the next Harry to replace him, because it sounds like Harry can't come back from what others have alluded to.
As far as the guys visiting Harry, I thought that was rather telling myself when we first heard it. There was a point made that players can only be coached X number of hours each week by the team, so going to Harry in part may have been due to those restrictions. The fact they were going to him at all should be a red flag though that Quinn was struggling (Health-wise or other) to get the guys prepared.
