and? lol

Before Feb. 1st. that good enough answer?

The "great news" is that Bruce Heggie is now 8'6" and weighs 589 pounds, all this while running a 3.8 40 and shirking his weight-lifting duties to bench press SUVs.

That answer sucks.
Way to step out on that ledge..... Freaking hilarious. I could make the claim the sun is gonna come up before Feb. 1st and I'm pretty sure it'll happen. You kill me brah.... lol Would it be any different than your proclamation? Um....no.
Moving on.
I say boy, I say son, I wouldn't push it, little chicken hawk.

GB has had some pretty good insight on everything. He can't be certain when a recruit might commit or whatever though. He might know the basic timeline though.
hahaha....That's fine by me beau. Quite frankly, I could care less. I'm of old school thinking quite frankly. I wish it was like days past where come fall ball, tell me who shows up new and we roll with them. I think the internet ruins a lot of that quite frankly... The need for information 24/7/365 has put these kids on a pedestal and they run with it in grandstanding fashion.
That said.... Give me 85 kids that want to work and live the ND lifestyle and I'm in... I don't need any "insider" information as to what 17-18 kids are thinking/saying. It's almost as creepy as following the kids on facebook/myspace.

Recruiting is the lifeblood of a college football team (just like the draft is for the NFL). You have to build a championship team they don't magically apear out of thin air. You may not enjoy this particular aspect of college football but many here do and thus it gets followed rather voraciously.

You made a key point here.... lifeblood of A College Football Team. I don't recall seeing your name or any other poster's names here on the roster or coaching staff. I agree that "the process" is a part of the lifeblood of each program, but do we as fans necessarily have to be a part of it??? I think not. We don't get a vote on who comes and who doesn't.... Teams do what they do without our input quite frankly, so why get all worked up over it. That said, I find it even creepier that people find it necessary to send these kids messages via social media, thus thrusting themselves into the process to come to their school. Should this be part of the lifeblood of recruiting?

I know I have never posted as much as I did today.Out of curiosity, anybody know the record on this site for most one day traffic and/or posts in a day (excluding signing day)?! I wonder where these last 24 hours would fit in? Ha!

A $30 dollar t-shirt doesn't give you a vote on who coach Kelly recruits to ND
Nobody said it did. You missed the point.
The social media thing is creepy, no question, on everything else I disagree. Saying "Why should we care about recruiting? We have no part in it as fans" is much the same as saying "why care about who your NFL team drafts? We have no part in it!".
