For you outta market guys who want to try Cincy Chili dogs... here's whatcha do:

Stop by the dollar store and by a bag of random yellow cheese, non-beef hot dogs and some dog buns. Then proceed to your nearest Greek restaurant and order pastitsio. Throw the dog and cheese on top and eat using the bun as a chaser.

It's really very good.

If you want too much cinnamon and nutmeg in your chili then by all means go to your nearest Skyline. If you want real man spices - the kind of man Rack Em’s mom prefers - then go to Gold Star…

Gold Star isn't even in the top 10 of Cincinnati chili establishments.

(The irony being that their rebrand to just "Gold Star" instead of "Gold Star Chili," signaling their official surrender in the Chili Wars, has actually been a good thing. Their burgers are good as hell, as are their fries.)

This is just silly. Of course neither Gold Star or Skyline are the best (Blue Ash Chili) in the city, they're simply the biggest.

I grew up on the west side of Cincinnati. Post-game Skyline after little league altered my DNA.

Now I take my kids to our preferred NKY location on Friday nights after baseball (or Saturday afternoons now that it’s football season).

Three cheese coneys and a Pepsi… that soft, warm, steamed bun. The hot dog, providing the foundation. The hot Skyline chili, seasoned just right and prepared just short of “burn your mouth” temperature. The extremely cold shredded cheddar on top, setting off against the warm steamed bun and hot Skyline chili sauce.

Take a massive bite and let all the layers compliment each other. Follow it up with a nice long swig of a perfectly mixed, ice cold fountain Pepsi… man that’s the good stuff.
Damn. I’m back in NY now and after reading this you’ve got me wanting more of those little bastards.

Rack Em's mom prefers men who are still breathing. Other than that, she has no preferences. She welcomes all.

I grew up a poors in the Midwest. Pigeon Forge was THE vacation, and the one year we stayed in Gatlinburg was like the height of luxury.

I’ll always gave a soft spot for both, and my kids will know the joys of a mountain vacation every other year or so
You were a poors? I’m so sorry bro. 😉

Sandusky is the vacation destination for Ohio poors surely?? Burning gas to drive all the way to TN sounds like a heck of a flex. Get em fellas

Not even that far for Greater Cincinnati folk... balling on a budget meant a day trip to The Beach Waterpark or Kings Island, or a two-night stay at the Holidome in Sharonville.

How majestic is this shit:

I’m flexing real hard here in Pigeon Forge. Even got a three o’clock mid drunk going. Got my lady some fudge at Buc-ees earlier. That better lead to some Suc-ees for Ol 31 later on tonight. But if I keep at this pace she will get a cheek full of mush.😂

They had one of those in Indy. The minute you walked in you needed to change clothes. The humidity felt like 200%.

Don't forget the Blueberry Jalapeno jam. You can spice things up a little for your lady.
