Ann Arbor not listed because it's too small. Columbus is #50... so perfectly average for a US city. Cinci is #37, Dayton is #69, Toledo #75, Youngstown #77, Cleveland #87... not exactly a lot to right home about for the great state of Ohio.
Michigan has Grand Rapids at #13, Detroit at #86.
I'd say the citizens of this great country currently believe that Michigan and Ohio (and Illinois, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, and West Virginia) are not the most desirable places to live.

Those lists are so subjective. Your interest may differ from mine. As Kmoose said, it's what you make of it that matters most.
