It's not funny, it's annoying. And no PMs please, God.

The word wholesome, when used in regards to women, makes me laugh. IDGAF if it's Webster's literal definition, my friends and I don't use it that way in regards to women. I wasn't making fun of Wooly, I was pointing out that that used in regards to woman was funny to me. Who gives a ****, how that becomes a thing is beyond me.

You could simply quit responding to me and all would be right in the world. Btw, the only person between us that has ever initiated a pm conversation is you...

You quoted my post. If someone quotes my post, I'll respond if it's worth responding to.

You jumped into our conversation and I responded to your post in a kind and fair manner. You then proceeded to tell me not to use the word "wholesome" because you think that means fat chick.

It's all there if you want to check..

*you* were the one who told wooly that you don't even read his posts, unless he is "coming at you".... it's pretty obvious that you can't know if he is "coming at you" unless you read his posts. Don't get upset with me for simply pointing that out.

I'm reading through this funny thread wondering the same thing. I will say Wooly and Koon have done a masterful job of entertaining me. lol

I didn't tell you not to use the word wholesome. Use it however I want, I was posting because it made me laugh because we pick on each other for dating/flirting with a wholesome girl.

My bad, just please drop it. Everyone has better things to do today.

Ignoring a poster is a nice attempt, but you still see that post that shows someone posted, but doesn't show that they say. I've tried to ignore certain posters, and I end up unblocking them just to see the stupid crap they say. It's an addiction. An addiction to pissing myself off.

Hey, there is a club for people that are really like that : The Golden Shower Club, where their motto is, "Pissed off? Pissed on? Everyone gets into the fun!"

Occasionally, if the mood strikes me. But that's just for Cincinnati style chili.

Give me all of the onions in my "standard" chili.

5 way or no way. Get the F out of here.

And always hot sauce. Always.

No self respecting chili will ever let a shred of pasta into the pot.

I do not desecrate the gift of Skyline chili with beans, ever.

(I love beans in any other type of chili)

Skyline sucks. It was like pasty cinnamon.

It's cool in that there's an actual chilli place because IDK that I've ever seen one dedicated to chilli. But I've never tried a homemade chilli I wouldn't take over skyline's sauce. Maybe they have a number of sauces, but I took the 'standard' one and it was thin and sweet and weird.

There is only one "sauce." It is THE chili. (Well, I guess there's a vegetarian version, too, but that doesn't count.)

It's an acquired taste. If you grow up eating it, it's a way of life. If not, I can see how it would be strange. And it is chili, but I don't categorize it with homemade chili. It's in a league of its own.

Question for GK and Wooly:

Do you consider Cincinnati chili to be a Greek food?

Or just a recipe invented by a Greek immigrant?

Then educate me, because the numerous newspaper articles decorating Price Hill Chili tell me that the Greek founder of the restaurant brought the recipe from home.

Would Greeks recognize it?

There's a dish called Macaronia Me Kima that is similar to Cincinnati chili, but the recipes are far different. The way my Yaya made it, the cheese is mix of Mizithra and Kefalotyri, where I believe Cincinnati is cheddar? Also, the sauce in Me Kima is thick, but I wouldn't call it chili. It also tastes far different (cloves, cinnamon, etc) than the chili you get in Cincinnati.

That all being said... I see the resemblance. But it's far closer to bolognese than it is to Cinci Chili.

It seems like the guy who started Cincy-style chili found it easier to call it "Greek" than to explain the unique family recipe.

Mmm. That sounds good. Are there any good non secret family recipes you know of?
