F*** Omar and Trott
I'm watching Omar Hunter right now in the Florida game.
FU*K. URBAN. MEYER.
If anyone ever gives any of us BS about how we shouldn't have won the game, the, to me, indisputable intentional grounding in the endzone was two more points there, and us with the ball in good field position after their kick. Also, for the most part the game had the feel of Notre Dame stopping Pitt [God Bless The Defense Once Again] and Notre Dame stopping Notre Dame. The entire story was Notre Dame's execution. This may cause Brian Kelly to lose years of lifespan [I already see some melting away] but should give us some real optimism---just cogitate on the difference between the "ceiling" for our team vs the "ceiling" for Pitt for instance. This team is a newly tinkered together machine of huge potential power, but with some ornery loose nuts and bolts. If the offense ever gets "tightened up", Lordy, bar the door. I'm not claiming that we'll get there this year, but I bet we do.
He buried the nose of the ball into the F**** ground....that my friends is intential grounding...
Sorry Bambi...
I know we get screwed sometimes...but, that wasn't intentional grounding.
The pick? I don't know. Not familiar enough with the rules to be able to call that one. It certainly looked like Theo took a specific shot at him.
Now, Michigan State? We got jobbed.
Either way, it's a win.
Definition: The quarterback, while he is still in the area between the tackles, purposely throwing the ball out of bounds or into the ground to avoid taking a sack.
IrishJayHawk....I hear ya....that is one of the more difficult calls in Football....still love you man...! (in a non romantic way of cource)![]()
Gross, man.
I'm glad to be wrong. But, I think we're going by what we think his intent was. I'm certain that the intent was grounding.
Does anyone actually know the wording of the rule? Because there was an eligible receiver there.
I may be just misunderstanding the rule.
Your first mistake is assuming officials play by the rules.
Any neutral official IN THE COUNTRY would have thrown that flag.
The RB...had his back toward the QB....
Obama plan anyone? Screw socialism and screw zebras!
I'm a teacher. I tend to respect people in positions of authority. Maybe that's my bad.
I'm not offended at the discussion. This is a conversation, not a fight. We won the game and we all cheer for the same team.
