Oh no.... Really? I wanted to stay away from downtown.

From the Clemson website:

Several grass parking lots will be limited in capacity due to the wet conditions, including Lots 1, 2 and 13.

Lot 1 has lost 130 parking spaces. Patrons with a Lot 1 or Lot 2 parking pass wishing to stay on a solid surface are encouraged to park at the C1 parking lot off Perimeter Rd and use the shuttle service to the library parking lot. Once Lot 1 is full, remaining vehicles with a Lot 1 parking pass will be directed to C1.

Lot 2 has also lost several parking spaces due to standing water and will be parked as an AREA lot in the order that patrons with a pass arrive.

Lot 13 is open but may be limited. Fans in all grass parking lots are encouraged to carpool or consolidate automobiles off campus at Tri-County Technical College with those having paved lot spots.

Beginning at Noon on Saturday, the designated public parking and carpool location is at Tri-County Technical College located off Hwy 76 in Pendleton. Buses will run shuttles from those lots to campus.

Just looked at Clemsons schedule for last year. They lost to every good team they played and scrapped by powerhouses like BC, Louisville and Syracuse. This year they played two scrimmages and Louisville took them to the wire. If ND doesn't kick the Orange crap out of these jack asses I'm going to be pretty disappointed.

There's all this talk that they play "big boy" football at Clemson. That's right, big boy football! That's why they play FCS Wofford, followed by recently converted FCS Appy State, then play a close one with 0-3 Louisville before taking a week off to rest up from that grueling schedule and prepare for Irish week.

Reps, wise sirs!

I am getting a little bit ANGRY!

Okay, okay. So you have ND ranked comfortably top ten in both polls, right? This is the second time in three weeks that ND has been the underdog to a lower ranked team!

What kind of bullpucky is this? Seriously?

The arrogance of exposing this kind of hypocrisy to the whole of college football!

The irony is that Clemson has worked so hard to manufacture bulletin board material from Notre Dame players and coaches this last two weeks. (Yes, the kind of pathology we see on the Clemson team needs to be engaged at all times to concentrate on the task at hand, [There I said it!]) But, the whole college world has provided the Irish with a gold mine of motivation. And best, it doesn't have to be imbued at a purely emotional level, and it fits in to the ND gestalt perfectly, and to that of team 127; it is like true enthusiastic nutrition to them! Wait and see.

I can just see Coach Brian Kelly, (the new and improved) : "Are you kidding me? How can they keep doing this to us? I told you, no one gives a crap! Two weeks now! Men, they have no idea who we are! But you do! And you know what you want! Now it is time to show them! Again! Everybody, lets go! Burn the boats!"

This is the exact kind of scenario you want to keep your skilled guys settled, and encourage your whales* in the trenches to dominate both lines of scrimmage!

Irish Whales: John Flanagan and Martin Sheridan of the Irish American Athletic Club, with fellow Irishman James Mitchell of the New York Athletic Club at the 1904 Olympic Games in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Irish Whales or "The Whales" was a nickname given to a group of Irish and Irish-American athletes who dominated weight-throwing events in the first two decades of the 20th century. "This group dominated the field events, particularly throwing events, at the Amateur Athletic Union national championships and at the Olympic Games between 1896 and 1924."[1] They were primarily members of the Irish American Athletic Club, and the New York Athletic Club and also members of the New York City Police Department. They were known as such because of their athletic prowess, physical size, voracious appetites, and their impact on a generation of sports fans.

The Irish Whales included; John Flanagan, Simon Gillis, James Mitchell, Pat McDonald, Paddy Ryan, Martin Sheridan, Matt McGrath and Con Walsh. What Sheridan lacked in girth, he made up for with his appetite and athletic accomplishments, nine Olympic medals in all. "Matt McGrath was built like a wedge. He was a six-footer, but he weighed 248 pounds. John Flanagan was about the same. Simon Gillis was 6'2" and 240. Paddy Ryan was 6'5" and 296, while Pat McDonald was 6'5" and 300 pounds."[2]

I hear a lot of talk about Watson. He's getting a lot of talk as if hes a real legit threat. His numbers this year certainly arent flashy. What can we expect?

Good morning I.E! Personally, I don't care if its raining or they are having plagues of locusts and frogs. I am pumped for this game! I love the fact no one is giving ND any love at all. I know it has been said a lot on here, but this game really does set up an awful lot like Oklahoma in '12.

Kelly is going to have the boys ready to go. Irish are going to slog it out in the trenches and they will get the W.

GO IRISH!!! BEAT CLEMSON!!!

Here's one good point I thought of. If there comes a point in the game where Kizer is struggling to make throws, is there any chance that BK throws Wimbush in? I'm not trying to stir up controversy, but we know that kid has some wheels and can chuck the ball a mile.

Nobody's chucking a ball a mile in driving rain and gusty wind for a reception ... at least not to the intended receiver.

Nobody' stunning a mile in the monsoon either.

ND grew the grass to try and slow Reggie Bush. Clemson conjured up a monsoon to try and stop Fuller's, Prosise's, AND Wimbush's speed.

Wimbush might be the closest thing to a FB size wise in ND's stable. Does he have Mark Edwardslike ball security?

I worry about out our kicking game. Go big in the first half because the 2nd half will suck.

Herbie and Corso going back and forth with this years OSU and last year FSU. To much homerism. Herbie clearly not happy nobody sees OSU at the #1. Then there is the Michigan Man picking MSU at the #1.

Saw that. I would love someone to justify MSU>Utah right now.
