Not that I buy much into "analyst" predictions, but after hearing a lot of Clemson picks to win I needed to vent. I will first start off by saying that we really haven't beaten a quality opponent, and our secondary has looked paltry at best at times. But with that said same can be said for Clemson, just switch out that their offense has been their issue. The weather forecast is looking very wet and possibly windy for kickoff. This means that winning the battle in the trenches will prove to be even more important than it normally is. So here are my fool proof keys to the game that will leave us enjoying our Sunday morning coffee as an undefeated team.

1. The Clemson offensive line very well may cost them this game. Their are young and green and just rushing four may be more than they can handle. Not to mention sending Jaylon loose on blitzes.
2. The Irish have a plethora of talent on offense. I don't think well see CJ run loose as he has all year, but I also don't think we'll need him to. Kizer needs to just manage the game and avoid turning the ball over. Just don't give them the easy ones.
3. One game we never really saw our secondary be exposed was against Texas. Mainly because they had an average QB (which I believe Watson to be), but our defensive line made their QB run for his life. There is no reason that cant happen, which would allow our secondary to play more aggressive and cover the Clemson WRs less.
4. I'm fairly confident we will be victorious after this game. I haven't seen it mentioned too much but the only way we loose this game in my opinion is if this game is so close that it comes down to field goals. Clemson is returning their suspended kicker who was fairly solid last year. Yoon has shown some strokes of brilliance but other times he looks just like the young freshman he is. Again I dont think it will come down to this, but it really is my ONLY worry for tomorrow.

With all that said GO IRISH!!!!
