True but he wants that out there for the ACC head of officiating to hear/read so he can get some calls this Saturday. Pitt’s DBs are extremely handsy in coverage. Pitt’s defense committed 13 penalties for 101 yds and that’s not an outlier. A lot of those penalties were on the secondary. I couldn’t find the details of penalties committed but I don’t recall ever seeing so many ”Defensive Holding” calls that resulted in 10 yds & automatic 1st down. MF & Golden need to remind the officials how Nard-dog’s DBs like to play or it’s gonna be a long night w/ ND’s young inexperienced WR trying to get separation &/or win contested passes.

This. It was the same way with him at MSU. His dbs are always extremely grabby

So as a reminder...the structure of the game when playing a Narduzzi coached defense;
1. They come out and hold out wide outs on every pass play, refs don't call it.
2. ND coaches scream at refs, doesn't matter.
3. We start holding their wide outs since they aren't calling it.
4. They call us for defensive holding, screaming at the refs intensifies.
5. They finally start calling holding (or PI) on Pitt. Ends up roughly equal on penalties called even though they are guilty way more than we are.
6. We win with relative ease because Pitt's offense sucks.

Their D is solid… I think 27 points is a good marker, meaning less than that is disappointing, more than 27 is solid job by O

I'm right there with you. Winning out against this schedule should not provide the necessary cover for what the offensive failures cost this program, this season.
