Well guys, this is it. I will be heading to the campu in like 2 minutes. I have been waiting for this day ever since the tickets went on sale. I hope everyone enjoys the game.

Great Omen:

So, the Spike network is showing Die Hard right now, and literally 10 seconds ago the TV on the security-guard's desk at the Nakatoma Plaza says that "Notre Dame is beating USC" and that they just "went 78 yards in 8 plays."

For me, an "omen" has to be something like really out-of-the-ordinary, and I think this applies.

Biggest win since Florida State 93, in my opinion. Go Irish.

I swear I was/am watching Die Hard too. I was going to post the same exact thing. It is an omen. I also saw a gentleman walking down the street earliar today and he had a USC sweatshirt on and I about sh_t. Then I looked closer and it was South Carolina-thank God. I took that as a good omen (Gray is going to play well tonight).

This ceratinly feels like teh biggest game of the Kelly era thus far... hopefully the 'big games' of this era end with better results than those of the past 10 plus years...

Not sure if I am excited to see ND beat USC again, or scared stiff I'll see them lose... or both... but I am definately feeling some emotions I haven't in quite a long while in regards to sports...

We have had our fair share of "letdowns" in losses and tragedy. This is our time to shine and we will not be denied.

God already super keyed for tonight being Irish got low impluse alcohol management skills that slid into kicking off my own tailgate taste time now. My gut feeling is Notre Dame is not going to out scheme S.Cal so much as play a smash mouth running game and then Rees riddling their secondary. Just hope Tommy Rees stays cool regards turnovers.

Not sure what you infer from my blog certainly not slurring my Irish that we all abuse alcohol. Was into tongue-cheek Irish humor since we like to play with words and kid about boozing. Natch much is blogged here about tailgates and tasting so I threw in my humor within that context. So if I offended you I apologize.

Offended I am not. Beer and spirits move body of myself in addition to you. The Irish cannot look at defeat when there is none looking forward? The whiskey is what is right, the Trojans are wrong obvious it is. On matters, we see eye to eye on topics.
