Why wouldn't we have Moore on Lemon?
Not that I recall. I was at the 1999 game when it poured down rain but I don’t recall it being cold. The weather reflected both teams…shitty. At least ND pulled it out when the Irish recovered a Jarious Jackson fumble in the EZ.Have they ever had to play us in freezing weather?? I honestly don’t remember
2015 was in the high 30’s. It was cold enough to challenge my hoodie and cargo shorts combo.Have they ever had to play us in freezing weather?? I honestly don’t remember
A lot more Notre Dame fans/alums live near Michigan (in Big Ten territory and in the Northeast where there are a lot of Michigan alums) than live near SoCal, though. It's not like it's just people who live in Detroit who have to put up with them, they're everywhere.I think that’s what I said. If you live near Michigan you hate them more. If you live in SoCal you hate USC more. Which rivalry is bigger? USC ND not even close. Probably 20 books written about it. Ara vs McKay?!
When was the Andrew Hendrix game? 2013? I was at that one and I don't know about freezing but it was cold enough I have a picture of my wife in a winter hat.Have they ever had to play us in freezing weather?? I honestly don’t remember
If Spoiled Children get 40, we lose. We need to hold them under 30.First team to 40 wins?
Michigan fans exist in a cult of sorts and are extremely obnoxious and insufferable. USC fans are more fair weather and milquetoast in my experience living in Southern California. I also just have more respect for USC's program and history in a way I don't really for Michigan's. I don't care if they're strong every year so long as we beat them. I want Michigan's program disbanded, the Big House burned to the ground, and earth salted where it once stood.A lot more Notre Dame fans/alums live near Michigan (in Big Ten territory and in the Northeast where there are a lot of Michigan alums) than live near SoCal, though. I agree USC is bigger in the annals of historic rivalries, but in the bad blood department I think the edge goes to Michigan, is all.
That team will stay in LA. A shadow of it will make the trek east. Riley gonna Riley.USC looks to be a very strong team. They’ve shown the ability to rack up yards on the ground and in the air and they’re also very disciplined. Next week could make or break the season.
Agreed. Also, Michigan is a decent team with a good defense and no offense to speak of. ND is a much bigger challenge for them. That team will stay in LA. A shadow of it will make the trek east. Riley gonna Riley.

If we were playing Bryn Mawr, we might do this. Unfortunately, when you play FBS teams, you have to take defensive playcalling into account and exploit the thing they're not defending.Run Love and Price all day long relentlessly. Their rush defense isn't a strength. We can dominate time of possession and wear them out all game long and especially the 2nd half. Our oline v. their dline is huge matchup in this one. We need to set the tone early. Let Love and Price do their magic and everything else will take care of itself.
Go Irish!!
Got you, but I think you get my point. I know Carr is a stud and want to get him in the mix also. But when you have 2 of the best backs in the nation against a unit that hasn't been great, I want to make them a huge focus in this one and keep the ball away from their offense. I do not want to get our defense tired as that could be a big problem with Maiva especially 2nd half.If we were playing Bryn Mawr, we might do this. Also, it may be worth noting ND is 47th in yards per carry but 4th in yards per pass, even after throwing everything behind the line of scrimmage in the opener.
Hoping it doesn't rain. But will be there for first time since 2018!Sounds like rain this weekend
I don't care if we do it running or passing but please jump on them early. USC has a very bad pass defense. ND has a shaky run game at times.Run Love and Price all day long relentlessly. Yes, I do get you, and I'd love to run all over USC.Got you, but I think you get my point. I know Carr is a stud and want to get him in the mix also. Just win baby!
Yes. Had to do that during the Bush Push game.Unfortunately I’m in a wedding Saturday for my childhood best friend. Debating putting the phone on airplane and not watching or hearing about it until after the reception
USC ran a lot of quick passing game against michigan. Due to their run game being good against UM, they were in manageable 3rd down situations and were efficient.Maiava also has only been sacked 3 times all year. Either their OL is really really good or they haven't played a respectable DL.
This relationship is one-sided and abusive. If he were really your best friend he would have checked the schedule and planned accordingly. This is arguably kidnapping/extortion and I presume you are crossing state lines. Tell your buddy to lawyer up. Justice is coming.Unfortunately I’m in a wedding Saturday for my childhood best friend. Looks like you need a new childhood best friend.Unfortunately I’m in a wedding Saturday for my childhood best friend. Debating putting the phone on airplane and not watching or hearing about it until after the reception
I was going to go with my brother since a fellow alum cant make it, but man the tickets are brutal for face value. Cant afford it with my 1 son playing soccer in Italy right now...Hoping it doesn't rain. But will be there for first time since 2018!
