Just like last week for me...Zero worries.
ZERO
ZERO
Pitt generally plays us pretty tough.
Didn't have a play-making QB at the helm back then though.
This game doesn't scare me...... And that scares me.
Was really surprised they beat cuse yesterday though
Everyone plays ND tough. Especially when they are ranked/winning. After all, who doesn't get amped to beat a team most college football fans hate, as they have the NBC contract on national tv, and the whole lack of conference bs. It's annoying as hell as an ND fan, but we never "sneak up" on anyone.
It's not the play on the field that makes them hate us like it once was ….or the NBC contract...or even the lack of conference.

OK. So what is IT
Obviously, this is my hope. And more than rest heading into the bye week, I really want all of our backups to get valuable PT. I wish we could go up big and put in Wimbush/PJ and the entire 2nd group on offense and defense.I think we cover the spread here. If we didn't have a bye the following week, I might be a bit more cautious. Get to them early and take control of the game and I think we see a lot less of Dexter, Boykin, Alize and perhaps even Book.
If we are gearing for a playoff run, we are going to need our players healthy and at their best. Coming off the bye and playing Navy is always a concern for injuries.
Both Pitt and Navy have given us fits in the past. Hopefully, we put up the big points, give our starters a much needed break and most importantly, get through these next two games with no injuries.
I sense the final 4 games on tap could be much more difficult (all winnable), but on any given Saturday.
Cheers and Go Irish!!
My hope is that Tillery and Kareem dont play after the 1st quarter and that we suffer no more injuries.
First quarter? Holy cow. It'd have be 28-0 minimum and we'd have to be on offense in Pitt territory starting the second quarter
I don't think so. Maybe 1st quarter is optimistic, and somewhere in 2nd quarter is better. But if we're up 14-0 after 1 and it's looking easy, no reason to risk our 1st round DT or NFL DE who's playing with a bad ankle when we can win while giving others experience/reps.
I have never been of the belief that the game has to be in hand for the 2nd/3rd stringers to start playing. I firmly believe you sprinkle them in while the game is still being determined if you are confident you can pull away later. Those are the most meaningful reps.

What website will show when tickets become available this week? Thanks in advance.

Never mind. I found the webpage on NDs website. Does anyone know when they release tickets from the visiting team during the week?
If you’re on twitter, I would suggest following @ndtix and turning their post notifications on. They are the first to announce fresh allotments dropping
