He's atrocious and deserves zero respect. What a clown.

If anybody wants only band members to be in the Irish guard, go ahead and disagree. But you're wrong and it flies in the face of a great tradition that honors our service men and women. Ken dye doesn't care. Its all about controlling the band to him.
