Notre Dame-Pittsburgh football on Nov. 9 will be televised by ABC or ESPN but exact kickoff time will not be set until after Nov. 2 games.

Brian Hamilton‏@ChiTribHamilton
#NotreDame at #Pitt kickoff still TBD. Will be on ABC or ESPN, and time be announced no later than noon ET on Nov. 3.

Alabama-LSU is indeed primetime (8pm ET) on Nov. 9. Interesting to see if ESPN sacrifices #NotreDame to the SEC goliath.

Yes, I know Alabama-LSU is on CBS. The point is ESPN/ABC can put #NotreDame-Pitt against it at 8pm. 'Bama-LSU did an 11.5 in 2011.

Yep. Seems other choices are FSU-Wake, Miami-Va Tech. RT @ryan_wakefield: they also can put FSU up against alabama, correct?

Notre Dame-Pittsburgh start time to be announced by Sunday | CSN Chicago

JJ STANKEVITZ

Notre Dame fans hoping to make plans for their team's Nov. 9 game at Pittsburgh will have to wait a little longer.

ESPN exercised its six-day window option for three ACC games on Nov. 9: Notre Dame at Pitt, Virginia Tech at Miami and Florida State at Wake Forest.

That means the start time for Notre Dame-Pitt will be announced Sunday morning. The game will either be televised on ABC or ESPN, and will likely have a kickoff (EST) of either noon, 3:30 p.m. or 8 p.m.

Noon, 3:30 or 8:00
Plan on it!

My buddy won a free happy hour party at McFadden's (Irish Bar) on Saturday night, so if any of you wanna have a good time after the game you can join me and my friends, it's 50% off drinks Saturday night 10-12...for those not from around here McFadden's is by PNC Park...should be a fun time

Lost to GT today 21-10, threw the ball 37 times and had -5 yards rushing, 19 yards on 14 carries if you take out sacks. Tyler Boyd seems to be their only weapon offensively. So naturally Pitt will have a lead late/hang around.

Edit: Looking at stats Devin Street has had a nice year also.

So pissed.

Yup. Glad we can put bad teams like Purdue and Pitt in primetime and get them even more amped to play. Here comes another way-harder-than-it-should-be game.

And I don't get to watch LSU-Bama

Now the only question is, "Is the NSA going to turn this over to ABC and law enforcement?"

ND opened -3.5

Now -5

This must have been the driving factor in network exec's minds as Bama is an 11 pt favorite over Les. They wanted to show the more competive game.

Millions of viewers will stop watching the Bayou Beating by halftime, pluck their eyebrows, try to log on the Obamacare site, and wax their chest hair, before turning on ND/PIT to watch O.T.

As posted in Councell's thread he's out for the season. Schwenke will miss Pitt and maybe longer with high ankle sprain. Day re-aggregated his ankle but is optimistic about playing.

Why are we mad, exactly?

Because we already have to deal with being a circled game on the schedule for most of the teams we play. When it's a team that sucks (Purdue and Pitt), playing in primetime makes the moment that much bigger. Meanwhile, the whole day our team has to remain focused and pumped for a game in which the opposition is tough to get excited to play. Given the choice, I would much rather play this game at 12:00 or 3:30.

And because Bama-LSU kicks off at 8 too

Gotcha.

That first reason is completely accurate
