I plan on attending this one as well. Gonna wait and see on tickets. Last year I bought the Wake Forest game the day they went on sale. Ended up regretting it as I could have bought day of game tickets for a fraction of the price. This will be my first time at Duke.

Moving to Raleigh in a couple weeks. I'll be in attendance with the laaaady (Bill Burr voice). Looks like my Chicago Irish buddies won't be able to fly down. Wouldn't mind getting a tailgate together. Do we have a group from here going?

Also, DEFINITELY wait til game week/day to snag tickets. Prices sink when it gets a little chilly and the home team's 4-4 lol.

Starting to take a closer look at this trip. At first glance I like the idea of parking and tailgating in the jogging trail lot. It looks really close to the stadium but very small.

Anyone have experience with tailgating or even attending a game at Duke?

Not on the prime time slots for Fox, ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU (or any others that I can see).

But hey, we'll get to watch App St play SCar and Liberty play BYU... I guess that's what happens when you get crushed by a meatchicken.

You could do the free trial of YouTube tv which has the ACC network. It is either a week or two. Cancel right after the game.

I never watch ND from a bar except for very rare occurrences. I like to watch the game in the confines of my own home so I can act as insane as I see fit during those 3.5 tumultuous hours.

I emerge from my cave for a pint only after the final whistle. Never before.

I have no read on this game. Partly because I haven't watched Duke since they gave Bama a fight for 30 mins, and partly because I've closely watched our team fall apart since the 2nd half against USC.

The only problem with doing a trial for YouTubeTV is that you won't want to cancel it.

I have Xfinity for internet and I would have to pay double for TV to match what I get from YouTubeTV. And the recordings are unlimited, smart, and they record the whole game no matter when it ends.

should actually be finishing up by then and having a few drinks at dinner avoiding the game and waiting until it's over to avoid what I put myself thru the previous week. IT felt great to deal with the day after but the stress of living through it felt like 10 different Tommy Rees games. I got too angry watching that game last week. IF ND loses then I delete the recording if they win I can watch it and analyze the game semi-calm. Not as much fun when we win but keeps me alive.
