If Clemson beats LSU and we both come in undefeated, it'll be even bigger than that game.
Think Miami 88.

Surely a prime time game. Maybe the weatherman will dial up some chilly temps to welcome the Tigers to SB. This game along with Arkansas and Wiscy are my games for 2020.

Here's hoping a winter storm rolls in and freezes the asses off Dabo and the Tigers.

Hopefully Notre Dame can end Clemsons regular season winning streak.

I know a lot of you think Clemson is going to roll ND, but at this point in time if there are no major injuries I see a close game going either way.

For all the people that want to talk down on your favorite team...

We played Clemson nose to nose 90% of the game. We had Love go down and that was ashame.
I've said too much... after watching Venables defense try to hurt every impact player in the Semi's and Championship game.
We can and will win!

I believe! Question Is. Can you get your heads outta the gutter and support.

I would give up my manhood to just Godsmack Dabo back into reality.

We literally had no offense... We were manhandled. There was zero chance of winning that game. 200 yds total offense and like 10 punts.

We played them tough on D. Love going down was indeed a shame but we were horribly outmatched on offense. Now, that was probably a historically good defense, but I'm not convinced that we'll have a better offense than we did in 18. We might, but personnel wise, it doesn't look like the needle has really moved in either direction.

Banking on a couple things. One, hopefully Book is ready to play this time, he has big game experience but not success. Two, some home field magic. Clemson doesn't play games this far north in November. We haven't lost a home game since UGA. Can't remember the last time we laid an egg in ND Stadium. Green out incoming, don't sell your damn tickets.

They have to replace a lot on both sides, but they still have TL, Ross and some tall 5* WRs ready to fill Higgins' shoes. Hopefully the chunk of the OL they lose plus Etienne isn't so easily replaced. Our D should do well enough to give us a fighting chance. But we need to have a balanced offense to stand a chance. Not feeling confident that we can move the ball on the ground, so they'll be selling out to stop the pass. But we have to win a big game at some point. This could be a program changer.

Y’all also have to remember 2015 at Clemson that came down to a 2 pt conversion. And yeah Watson was the WB of Clemson, not no Kelly Bryant.

That’s all fine and good but the fact of the matter remains that Clemson can play below their potential and still beat ND. ND on the other hand has to play a perfect game to win. That is the beauty of college football, any team can beat any other team but from an objective standpoint Clemson is a heavy favorite.

The point I make Is. We were not manhandled as you try to point out.
It's amazing the way people can watch a game and forget what actually happened in the game a week later. I'll give ya benefit of a year, and there's no hope.

Literally by every measure says otherwise. Maybe our defense was able to slow things down and keep us in it for a window of time, but it was like 20-3 or something at half. We had very little success on third down and with 250 total yards we weren't moving the ball. So even if Love stays in and the D was able to keep it close, there was no sign of offensive production that could win the game.

I think it's fair to say the defense was keeping us in it until we lost Love. But with the O underperforming as badly as it was, it was only a matter of time until the floodgates opened. The O made sure we weren't going to win that game no matter how well the D played.

In 2015 Notre Dame played no where near a perfect game. If Chris Brown doesn’t fumble at the 2 yard line the history of Modern Clemson football would be a different narrative.

This one comes down to one thing.... and it's not Book. It's whether the Irish can run the ball effectively against Clemson. No run game... no way of winning. Ball control, better than average third down efficiency, red zone conversions, and winning the turnover battle. Sounds easy enough. It isn't.

There's a reason Clemson has been so successful recently. They typically win most of these key factors against their opponents. With that said... that's why you play the games. If the Irish want to move up in to that next tier of teams, wins such as this are a must.

Snow. I'd love to see more southern teams play up north late in the year.
