Can we all agree on this. ND has the players and the coach? Now I love Tommy, and respect him for what he has done for ND. Golson!!!
2 int 1 in redzone. That's the only reason we lost. If we played pitt again we win.

I took offense to the poster saying that those who don't think ND will win every game aren't true fans.

I agree ASU looked like a possible loss. A qb that scrambles, and can throw. We were solid till one int. at the end. Again we have a BCS team.

My problem is when we lose a game and folks just want to hate or start picking on guys. Support is needed the most when guys are down. Fans lift them up by believing in the Team no matter what the odds. Notre Dame will win over all.

USC, MICHIGANST,ASU all better teams than BYU.

We're not a BCS team right now. Too much attrition and we don't have an "x-factor" at the single most important position on the field which, IMO, would have been the only way to overcome that.

We aren't a BCS team in reality, not just subjectively. We can't win more than 9 games and that wont get a BCS game in any scenario. We can say that we have "BCS talent", but so can half of college football. So, in my opinion, there is no reasonable reason to consider our team a "BCS Team". That's just being unrealistic.

Not sure what Trinity meant by that, but I am not on that bus.

I'm not trying to dog the team, I love this team. But saying we are a "BCS Team" is damn near as unreasonable as saying that we are a "National Title Contender". It's simply not possible with the losses we have. If it was suppose to mean that we have that type of talent, so does everybody. College football is about execution, and we are terrible in that regard.

Even if you have one of the best "x-factors" in the game at that position, you still aren't guaranteed to overcome defensive issues.

With three losses we're clearly not "a BCS team." What's frustrating is, if we'd played better, we could/should have won all three of those games. Of course, you could say the same thing about the other team and most of our wins. (Think Michigan State isn't kicking themselves?)
This is college football. It's as much or more about consistency and mental toughness as it is about talent.

Golson. Trust me if he wasn't kicked out we have a BCS team. With Tommy we had 4 ints to much to finish as strong as we would have. Having Golson at QB would have had this team with at least 2 touchdowns per game.
Again Tommy is my guy, really been on this yr. I can say now he knows how to throw a fade like no other. I think Tommy can lead this team to wins against both Stanford,Byu.

Tickets on the 50 yard line row 41. Went to the navy game and hoping to see a good game this weekend as well. 3rd year in a row going to the senior day game, it was pretty awesome last year. Even though I am not a huge fan of tommy, you have to respect what he has done, I will be standing and cheering for what he has given these last 4 years. We must start fast, 28-24 byu is my prediction though.

Don't get angry with me. I offer some gentle and sincere advice. Before the interview hit the dictionary and get yourself clear on the difference between perspective and prospective. At times seemingly little things can carry a lot of weight.
