If your thinking ND will hang half a hundred, it's doubtful. They've only allowed more than 17 points 3 times with only Clemsonscoring more than 3 TDs. BC hasn't really been blow out by anybody.

They have a good defense and an offense that's allergic to the end zone. With the exception of their opening two games against 1AA competition they only scored more than 10 points in a game 3 times hitting 17 twice.

Lost to Clemson 34-17

Lost to VT 26-10

Lost to NCS 24-8

Lost to Lou 17-10

Lost to FSU 14-0

Lost to Duke 9-7

Lost to WF 3-0

If I'm BC's OC, I'm looking to figure out ND's blitz pattern and then attack the middle of the field with screens and crossing patterns. While our scheme to get after the QB against WF seemed to work and will work against BC, we are leaving way too much open in the 5-15 yard range when we attack with Joe and Jaylon. I'm tired of seeing mediocre teams like WF move the ball on us like they have been. If we're gonna bring it, we need to man up with our DB's better as well.

Also, does anyone else seem to notice that when ND starts fast, the tone of the game seems to be completely different then when we start with a couple of 3 and outs?

Except that BC is starting a fourth-stringer at quarterback. He's a walk-on and he can't throw. My sister tells me he spent the first part of the season chatting with the band during practice rather than getting actual reps.

So does he throw 4 or 5 TD passes against us?

This should be the year the Irish dominate BC from a talent standpoint, but I think we are relying on some young talent offensively so it may not happen. BC's defense may hold the Irish in check until the late 3rd/fourth where the Irish begin to pull away. I think this is how it will play out.

I'm guessing $175 endzone / $225 sideline. I have no idea what's available. PM me.

I think he meant to say please post identifying info and CC info in bold print here in the forum so its easier to read

I follow Massachusetts HS football very closely and never heard of this kid until he became the starting QB for BC a few weeks ago. He graduated in 2014 and prepped a year before walking on at BC.

If he had your typical BC OL in front of him there would be some concern, but this group stinks. They will be good in a few years but not now. Our DL is going to DOMINATE the LOS and this QB is going to be running for his life.

Our defense is going to outscore their offense. Mark it down.

I can't wait to hear Flutie talk about how great he is the entire game.

My first pair went for 2x my second pair. Prices dropped substantially once ND FINALLY sent out their tickets. I didn't like listing without the tickets in hand and it cost me quite a bit. Not going to complain though, made enough hopefully parlay for a bowl game.

BK: Teams will be on the same sideline and something they will work on during practice this week.

BK: Has not received report on what turf is like. Doesn't have safety concerns with end zones. Confident in field conditions.

BK: Will use Grace and Martini as a tandem on Saturday.

BK: Wants to be a little more aggressive on offense. Specifically pushing the ball vertically.

BK: Will need to find a way to make explosive plays vs BC. Prosise needs to take three-yard runs, but also be explosive.

BK: Working against defensive scheme against BC vs working against specific player.

BK: Trumbetti gaining confidence and starting to show athleticism.

BK: Onwualu was playing his best football. Gone from cover LB to effective tackler. Big loss on special teams and will be sorely missed.

Translation - expect boom or bust on offense due to BC's stout D.

BK: Blankenship a young kid that was overthinking on the missed fumble recovery. (I think he wasn't thinking at all)

BK: Folston making good progress. Matching Tranquill in rehab process. Both players making progress. Durhm Smythe may return for post season.
