JS: You can't get too caught up in the atmosphere. That's when you might lose sight of what's important.

Says he is looking forward to checking out Fenway. Grew up a Res Sox fan.

JS - he'll try and go into the Green Monster. "I'm not going to be Manny Ramirez and leave the game to go in."

JS: I think I did very well against Wake Forest. I played a clean game.

Doesn't look at # of tackles when grading game. Says you can have 13 tackles but miss 3 assignments that give up 3 TDs, not all about #'s.

JS: It's a linebacker game. They enjoy running the football, and I like people who run the football.

Nick Martin on the run game: Not every play is going to be a big chunk play. But if you keep grinding you're gonna find your spots.

One of the first things Zach Martin told Nick as a recruit is "he believed (Brian Kelly) would take #NotreDame to a national championship.

....took, yes. win, not yet. Keep going.

Sheldon Day: Jonathan Bonner was just waiting for his time to shine, and he did a good job.

Sheldon Day on staying fresh late in the year. Healthy in November for the first time. Also helps that he's finished his degree.

Sheldon Day on Kizer: He's playing with a swagger that nobody can compare to right now.

Kizer: sees playoff opportunity but team is focused on beating each day.

Kizer: needs to be more aware of back side blitz.

Kizer: BC's defense - They have complete confidence in what they're doing and that's their biggest plus.

Kizer said he's completely healthy at this point in the season, a change from his prep career. Notes he's 40 pounds heavier now.

Kizer on blitzes and protections: You've got to get hit in the back before you respect your backside.

Kizer asked if he might do a home run swing after a TD on Saturday - "I think coach Kelly is on his last straw with those things."

What would Deshone Kizer have asked Tom Brady when he committed to ND? "Why would he ever choose to head up to a school up north like Michigan?"

Why do people keep calling them Eagle wings? It has nothing to do with Kizer being an Eagles fan (as Kelly flat-out lied on the Season with ND Football episode). Kizer was obviously mocking the Temple OWLS.

Last Saturday, on his first TD run, he stood in front of the band and looked as is if he took a brief moment to be the conductor.

I think Kizer mentioned before the game that he was an Eagles fan, and they were in the Eagles' home stadium. That said, I think he was mocking them a bit, but I'm not familiar enough with the Owls to know if they do that flapping too.

IDK what he was actually doing but Kizer said the celebration was specifically to do with him being an Eagles fan.

yeah and i used to tell mom i was staying at a friends house.....

im sure he is a eagles fan and maybe even talked about doing that during the week leading up to the game but he did it right in dudes face while staring him down. It was "taunting".

I thought this was pretty obvious to all. He definitely stared that defender down while doing it.

Because it is the TD move commonly used by Eagles players, he said he was an Eagles fan before the game and he/BK both said that is why he did it. That's not enough?

Who in the hell has ever done an Owl impression by flapping their arms?

You also have zero proof of the "lying" you are accusing BK of doing.

It was an "Eagles thing." There is pre-game audio of Kizer discussing it and that he's a huge Eagles fan.

Did he do it to taunt the Temple player? Yes. Matakevich was running his mouth from the first snap to the last. He was chirping all game. Which is fine. But when you chirp... especially in the end zone after giving up a TD... expect to get some back.

I'm not objecting at all, don't get me wrong. I just think it's silly to have Kelly frame it up as "Kizer was really excited to play in the Eagles stadium." It was taunting, simple as that. Call it what it is.

What exactly about that article is supposed to prove that they are all lying?

I'm pretty sure that article is just a butthurt ND hater taking out some frustration. There is literally zero proof in that article, or anywhere else for that matter, that he wasn't doing anything different than what you see Eagles players do in that same stadium every single week.
