Since their game against Howard, BC has not scored more than 17 points in a game including a 3-0 loss at the hands of Wake Forest.

Boston college's leading passer has 400 yards on the season. Their leading rusher has 307 yards. Their leading receiver has 216 yards.

What the hell is going on over there?

Boston College Eagles 2015 Statistics - Team and Player Stats - College Football - ESPN

Judging by the stats, Darius Wade was the starter at the beginning of the season, was hurt in game 3, a QB competition ensued between two freshman, Troy Flutie and Jeff Smith, who have in the past two games now both been replaced by John Fadule...another freshman.

The RB and WR stats are just as unbelievable though.

All shaping up for the BC quarterback to enter the Heisman race after playing ND.

Looking at team stats would make a lot more sense then.

To be fair, they do have 5 players with over 50 rushes this season compared to our 3.

As well, I should note that Jeff Smith is also out with injury so to correct the QB situation: starter Darius Wade broke his ankle in game 3 (out for season), back up Jeff Smith concussed two weeks back, Flutie had spelled Smith and started in the Va Tech game only to be pulled after the first possession for John Fadule a walk-on, who has continued to start for BC.

45.5% team pass completion rate. How in the world they let Jeff Smith, whoever that is, throw 63 passes while only completing a 3rd of them (33%!!!) is beyond me. Crazy that this is the worse passing team we will play in a year both Tech and Navy are on our schedule.

The Irish secondary will put him the Heisman watch no doubt. Career day, I'm sure!

I expect BC to bring their "A" game for this one as they always do, but then again I expected the same out of Pitt last week. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of the game Saturday, despite giving up some style points at the end. Hopefully we're all pleasantly surprised by the end of the game.

BC's "A" Game may be roughly equivelant to a middle of the road DII school this year. They look really really bad.

Yeah, but we all know BC doesn't play their best until they face us. Defensively they're still pretty good, they're probably about as tough as Temple in that regard. I expect them to show up like Temple did too on that side of the ball. Offensively they certainly don't scare me, but you never know how they'll respond. 21-6 was the last score against them in 2012, and it was 14-3 at the half. I would expect a similar score this year, maybe 28-14. I'm sure they'll try a trick play since teams have had success against us this year in just about every game that wasn't Pitt.

If the benches are on one side, how sick would the 1st row seats be on the other side? My god.

Anyone else think they should have brought in portable bleachers for left field? Could have gotten at least another couple thousand there.

Both teams are sharing that sideline so there will be team crap backed up. Still no word on where the bands will be.

Yeah I knew that, but it still seems like they could get something in there. Having the bands back there seems like a good compromise for the fans to have a good view. However, coaches might not like having bands playing directly behind them all game either.

Would be an awesome game to attend, but I'll enjoy in the safety, comfort, and affordable living room here in TX.
Irish should blow these guys out.
