It's supposed to be pretty damn cold and breezy on Saturday. What do you think ... a help or hinderance for the Irish?

Sounds like a recipe for a good run game. Large doses of Estime would be a good thing in theory.

On a related note, I don’t understand how the line is somewhere around 21 points (that’s what they had on the CBS show Brady Quinn was doing today). That seems preposterous.

I’m worried because it’s senior day. BC probably needs to go to the air, so hopefully that wind wreaks havoc. This has a feel of Utah or BYU cold weather games from many years ago.

Hard time taking that with this team/year but I do think they should be a better team by 3 scores

Agreed, I felt really good about taking the Irish -16.5 last week....that turned out greattttt.

Seemed like a layup after that first half.

Looking back at the 2018 class:

Griffith, Jayson A, Justin A, Lenzy, Bauer, Patterson, Bracy, and DJ Brown

Handful of guys that haven’t had it particularly easy at times in career but have gotten here and all contributing. Gotta be a weird feeling for Phil when he’s gonna watch Senior Day unfold.

The 2018 class turned out okay in the end. Most of the big recruits flopped but there were a lot of solid players that stepped up.

Respect for all those guys. They've helped us win a lot of football games and I'd suspect have played a big leadership role behind the scenes this season, which has not been easy.

That said, we had the 10th ranked class in the country. It was one of Kelly's stronger classes on paper. It'll wind up with, what, three or four legit NFL players? (Jayson A., Patterson, Tommy Tremble, maybe Bracy. I figure Lenzy's a stretch, so's Phil. But maybe.)
Aside from Ademilola the rest were in the bottom half of the class in terms of rankings. Funny how recruiting pans out.

We’ve gotten quite a bit of snow over the last 24 hours and there’s a 40% chance tomorrow

Takacs I don’t blame for leaving he contributed, was blocked and went with his position coach too. I was more implying the angle of nicely saying Phil was a loser who didn’t stick it out when it got tough like other guys.

I wanted to go to the game, but got called on Wednesday with an offer to work my side-gig tomorrow morning.

I *wanted* to go to the game if was going to be a snow game, so I checked the weather report... it was sunny skies on the forecast, so I told them I could stay in town and work.

NOW it's a 40% chance of snow, and rising. I'm upset.

It might depend on where you tailgate but I don't' think it'll be that big of an issue. I've tailgated in the past on snowy days and don't remember anything being affected.

Not sure how soft/muddy the ground is but I didn't have 4WD back then and everything turned out fine. I'd assume it's business as usual, be sure to layer up!

I know it’s calling for some wind but as long as it doesn’t get to the 25-30 mph gust I think we’ll be ok. It’s chilly but not freezing.

The University is pretty awesome looking with snow though!

It can't be worse than the Clemson game, it was very windy and everything was being blown over.
