Pulled from a Wake Forest blog:

The Deacs are averaging 191 yards per game through four road games so far this year, which is last in the nation by 40 yards a game (yes...40 yards per game)

Wow.

Wow.

I am considering laying the points, but recent home game history says otherwise. They really should beat this team like a drum, take them behind the wood shed, smack them around so bad it'll look like they fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down, look like they've been hit with a bag of nickels and beg for mercy and get nothing...and like it.

Well, does anyone know anything about Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana? That is where we ended up booking a room.

In my neck of the woods. Swan Lake is one of the nicest courses in the area. Never golfed there myself but it is kinda expensive. You wont have any problems. You won't really run into any traffic from that way either. Just go up a few miles on 30 through town and and get onto 31 and it will take you right into the back side of Eddy Street after a few turns. If you are coming from that way, I would suggest to park in someones yard. Those people are usually pretty fun and you can tailgate or do whatever you want in their yard.

Thanks. I am sorry for the delay in my response, but after the HUGE adrenaline rush of going to campus, we checked in & I hit the rack. Just woke up and I have to say, for $60 a night, this place is AWESOME! I have paid much more for much less. This place is basically just a country club that is in the country. The drive out to it is very scenic & being from Mississippi, it felt like home being "in tha sticks". We just went into Plymouth & ate and we saw several whitetail deer on our drive into town. I used to be a huge deer hunter & thE sight of those big bucks sure got my blood pumping. I can't personally enjoy many of the amenities, but my wife & daughter have made sure the folks at the spa don't operate in the red today. I will most definitely stay here again when I come to another game. Oh yeah, we got a State Government discount because I am a teacher and my wife is a psychometrist/counselor. That knocked $25 off, but still, the cleanliness and comfort of the place, it is easily worth twice the price. We plan on heading to campus tomorrow and doing out best to wear the two camera's plus iPhones out by taking every pic we can.

I have loved so many lines this season for ND but I just can't bring myself to do it. 5dimes usually has good ML options for us. But I have only bet ND one time in my life, in 2005...have never touched them since.

just a quick question maybe any current ND students could answer:
I remember last year there was a supplement in the student newspaper with articles on each graduating senior including walk on's ahead of Senior Day. It was available in PDF format, is there such an issue out for tomorrow's game?

Whitetail Deer hunting is pretty big in Northern Indiana, I really enjoy hunting. Matter of fact, gun season starts this Saturday

@BGI_DanMurphy: #NotreDame HC Brian Kelly said today's practice was about as close to a "perfect Thursday" the team has had since he's been at ND.

That's so encouraging to hear this late in the season! The team is getting better and they are really dialed in!

Meh, it almost scares me sometimes when they say we praticed really well. I've heard our coaches say this in the past, and it didn't translate to a great game on Saturday. Likewise I think I remember Holtz saying they had one of the worst practices of the year the week of the '88 Miami game. No idea why that is. Not saying Wake Forest is gonna pull the upset here. I guess I'm saying I'm damage goods as a fan at this point

It's defintley the season. My daily drive to work takes me thru some rural areas and I'm seeing those critters all over the place. Some are taking naps on the side of the road.

I'll have to keep that place in mind for next year. Enjoy the campus and the game.

I am with this guy

‏@TheSubwayDomer
I am completely opposed to an organized effort to wear leis at the ND & Wake game. 119% against it, in that fashion. *sigh*

@TheSubwayDomer
This is SENIOR day. I doubt, a guy like Te’o wants to shine block on his classmates. Also, why cheapen what happened against Michigan?

‏@TheSubwayDomer
Notre Dame fans trying to recreate an awesome moment in ND history for their OWN pleasure. So Notre Dame fannish of them.

ND is to blame somewhat as well by selling the lei shirts and 5 hats a couple weeks before.

Crowd is getting large for the pep rally. The ushers let is sit because it is getting pretty hard for me to stand or walk. I have seen a few people with the lei shirts, but for the most part, it's just all things ND. Bad thing about that is, my wife wants to buy EVERY "cute" item she see's LOL.

We got to meet Anthony Rabasa today as we were walking down the tunnel onto the field. That's my six year old boss in the picture with him. He was walking beside us & Hannah (my daughter) looks at him and says, "do you play football here?" I looked over & his face registered, but I couldn't place him. He was VERY nice and he stopped, knelt down and said to her, "yes ma'am, are you a student here?" Well, it hit me as he was saying his first name & I remembered him flipping to ND from Miami. He stood there & gave us advice on where to eat, what to see and stood for pics. Another example of how ND students are the brightest and best in the world. He made my little girls day & I will pull for him for life for that.

When my friends ask me why I love Notre Dame so much they don't understand when I tell them that the people at ND are different, that the atmosphere is different, that the experience is different. Stories like yours are what make ND amazing. Makes me so proud to be a fan when I hear about how our players go above and beyond to give back to their fans and the community.

Well, another sleepless night! WAY too much adrenaline pumping thru my veins to sleep. This trip has already been a trip that my wife, daughter & I will never forget. Each new hour brings more awesomeness! I sent a few of y'all a PM & shared our latest (and I say without a doubt)GREATEST moment at ND. I do not want to put it out here on the message boards because some will not believe me & some will say I am bragging or boasting. Those of you that know me, I think, know that I am being honest, but I do t want anyone thinking that of me, so I am going to wait a while before posting the story & pics. All of this & we ain't even got to what we came here to see!!!! Some of y'all that are not busy & would like to meet up & allow me to introduce my family and myself, PLEASE PM me& I'll give you my number. Really want to meet some IE brothers!!! Also, dying to show another fan these pics!!!!

I don't know much about it but i think there is an nbc sports app you can watch it on.
