Not what I'm saying/thinking...
"Just win, baby"
Al Davis, that you?!?

"Just win, baby"
There's no reason to feel like we need to blow any of our remaining two opponents out. Both would be quality wins by one or thirty points. Just win baby
Does anyone know if this game was originally scheduled to be a night game?
I don't think so. That would've been 4 night games at home and it would've been another long traveling weekend for the team. With this being a day game, I don't see this game having anymore of an impact than when the team took a bus to Evanston. They should be back in South Bend before midnight on Saturday.
Anyone else super wound up?
Shocked this isn't a Prime time game
I think in my head, I must have just assumed it was a night game. Thanks for the quick response.
That's the plan.

As someone who prefers afternoon games, of course the one time they have one, I can't watch... UghhhShocked this isn't a Prime time game
Man, everyone in the media is just saying ND is the better team and don’t see them losing this game. Either it’s true (which we all know is the case) or the media has given up trashing ND & figure they’ll build them up in hopes of them finally losing.
I’ve heard/read Stewart Mandel, Bruce Feldman, Pete Thamel & Heather Dinich just this morning chose ND to win comfortably

Maybe, i also think they realize there isn't much to really talk about, b/c this weekends slate of games are dreadful.
I also think this helps them to create a narrative for next weeks' talking points. If ND were to squeak by it will add add a little drama as to whether ND get's to stay at #3 or ND's "crappy win" opens the door for UM to over take ND.
I believe the Irish defense is just too strong for many - including syracuse.
You’re not wrong. There’s just always that caveat of ND being their own worst enemy & pulling something similar to Miami last year...who we know was an inferior opponent but the game got away quick & they were able to roll us.
SU’s defense as been vvery opportunistic & can score in a blink of an eye. They just need to play clean & avoid miscues on offense & ST.

The committee thinks we need to, even though we have been since Book became the starter (excluding Pitt). NW was only a 10 point win, but we covered the spread and the game felt like a 17+ point lead. Kirk thinks we're sputtering and dumbass Galloway compared us to a car leaking oil.
Danny Kanell picked Syracuse on CBS sports. I've never really cared for him anyways.
I have a hard time believing ND drops this one. This team seems laser focused and we have the better squad in all facets. Just need to avoid costly mistakes and we should pull away IMO.
Can’t wait! Tailgating nice and early, should be a great day for the Irish.
Oh Danny Boy.....
He picked Northwestern against the Irish too I believe....
Sure did, and I remember him downplaying us in 2015 when he was still with ESPN.
Some douchers never learn...I wonder how is arse feels after his alma mater got slapped around on Saturday
This is a ringing endorsement (and accurate description) if I've ever heard one, @SBN_BillC. "Syracuse's base defense is absolutely horrible, but put them in any situational aspect, red zone, passing downs or whatever, and they become Alabama."
From @JohnCassillo
