Playoff caliber teams bury teams like Pitt. The fact that so many of the fan base is wringing their hands over this team just tells me you truly don’t believe ND belongs in the playoffs.

I agree with this, but I was hoping/expecting to see better short yardage run blocking and schemes. When we wanted to run it and BC knew we would run it, they were blowing it up. There's still far too many DL over and over almost un touched hitting our RBs at or behind LOS.

We’re going into game 9. You can stop expecting them to magically get their short yardage issues fixed. It’s baked in at this point

Do I think the players lose an ounce of sleep? No. Do I think OSU fans lose sleep over playing scUM? UGA fans lose sleep over UF? Absolutely. Fan is short for fanatic.

I haven't watched enough Pitt to take a hard stance one way or the other, but I've watched enough Tennessee to say that they're not that good. Their offense can border on elite for spurts and then completely disappear and their defense fucking sucks.

Huepel has shades of Cristobal in his coaching. Totally different style obviously but they both have no idea what to do once they have a lead.

I really don't see the problem with being concerned about an opponent. I get it they're not Ohio St, Bama, etc., but they're also probably 1 of if not the most "dangerous" opponent we have left on the schedule. There's nothing wrong with being concerned about an opponent when you know that any loss ends the season.
