It’s almost like they didn’t think they could win this game. I really thought Wake was just a let down game but maybe it shook their confidence and brought back thoughts of 2016.

Yep. That would have shut up the crowd, let Wimbush get settled in. Very different game. I don't know if Wimbush overthrew or ESB didn't quite reach enough, but it's been a problem for them on deep balls all season.

BTW, you could tell they were f***** the moment the camera showed them coming out of the tunnel to start the game and they all look like they want to be anywhere but there.

And I agree - if BW and ESB connect on that first drive for the TD, completely different game most likely.

I have a tendency to watch LBs since I coached the position at he collegiate level and Morgan just hasn’t looked good all year. This game has been especially bad. I hate to harp on it but since this game is a shitshow I have just been watching him. He looks very timid. Coney may blow an assignment once in a while but he is full speed all the time.
