Does look like they can fill a stadium for a big Saturday night game though, which will be fun next week.

Amazing the taunting Miami gets away with. No school embraces it quite like they do.

Be wary. They win. The VT fans were talking shit all week saying they were going to be the one's to expose Miami. Miami doesn't look great but find a way to win.

Miami starting to route VTech 28-10. We have to dominate the LOS next week. Get healthy. Get a good game plan both offensively/defensively and beat these guys up. Play after play. I'm far too excited for this matchup man

Gonna be awkward wearing an ND shirt in UM’s student section next Saturday! They look good but keep Rosier in the pocket and they’ll be fine

Wake offense has the right game plan but didn't have the athletes. Miami does. Might be the best back end of a defense ND sees all season. Wimbush will need to be at his best throwing.

Hopefully everyone's healthy and we continue to control the trenches. Would be huge away win.

Reminder that VT's only decent win was against a 3 loss West Virginia team in week one.

Nov 11 | Miami (FL)

Stars are aligning:

BK is having a fuck all of you, watch this type season, and now it is highlighted by a trip to revisit the final resting place of his 2012 season.

He is gonna be ready this time, and so is his team.

Miami QB is not as good or experienced as Wake's QB. Plus the Wake QB practiced against Elko's defense the last three years. Elko will dial up some looks to confuse the young Miami QB.

Miami is hyped tonight. Are they going to be able to go like this two weeks in a row?

I worry about our secondary in this game. Miami has some decent athletes at WR. Our banged up backfield worries me also.

I can see McGlinchey having issues with the speed of #99. However, I see the off tackle play gashing as he doesn't seem to worry about contain a whole lot.

Miami is murdering their qb. Wimbush doesn't survive this one if he keeps taking hits.

This front 7 is real.

I was explaining this to my wife when we watched the replay tonight.

Injury Report

QB - Brandon Wimbush - Bruised Hand (X-Rays Negative)
RB - Josh Adams - Non-Concussive Head Injury ("Wasn't feeling too well" -BK)
RB - Dexter Williams - Ankle, Hamstring (Now his hamstring goes when he's finally healthy-ish, bad luck)
WR - Cam Smith - Hamstring (Missed 3 weeks so far)
TE - Alize Mack - Concussion (Towards the end of concussion protocol)
DL - Khalid Kareem - Lower Body Injury (Down on turf twice this weekend)

All in all not too bad injury-wise. Think Wimbush, Adams and Mack will be back next week. Less sure about Williams, Smith and Kareem. Really feel for Dexter Williams who's had horrible luck all season with injuries and looked like his hamstring gave out on his long run. Hope for a swift recovery.

Miami's defense looks like fucking Georgia right now.
wtf.

Slow down koon. Slow down. Let me help you off the ledge.

As others have mentioned the Wale QB has started 41 games, the Miami QB is a first year starter. Wake Forest offense knew what Elko was throwing at them as they played against that defense every day in practice for 3 years. Clearly in the second half the ND defense was just going through the motions and playing out the second half.

Miami’s best win of the season was tonight against an overrated VA Tech team, whose only quality win was a tight game against WVU. Notre Dame has 3 equal if not better wins compared to Miami’s best win which was tonight. ND crushed Sparty on the road and crushed USC and NC State.

Today against Wake was a prototypical trap game, overlooking an opponent. Notre Dame has just come of two big wins over top 15 teams and next week a huge game at Miami. Prototypical trap game, with the team looking ahead to the next weekend.

Since the team, especially the defense, didn’t play well today it gives BK and Elko the ammunition to ride the players this week. To teach them that they need to be sharp and pay attention to detail or else Miami will run them out of the stadium. Show the film from the Wake game and teach them how to correct mistakes. Every day build the confidence of the team. By Saturday ND should be well prepared, focused and sharp.

If ND executes the game plan, does not play sloppy and have a bunch of turnover the Irish should best Miami relatively easily.

Miami is a good team and Richt has them a year or two ahead of schedule. But they don’t have the talent and are not ready to compete at the same level as this Notre Dame football team. Notre Dame should be able to dominate on both lines of scrimmage which should produce a comfortable win for Notre Dame.

Take a step back, take a deep breath and calm down Koon. Miami is not as good as you think they are. And Notre Dame will not play as poor as they played today 2 weeks in a row.

We ain't gonna win this one...we gotta play perfect if we expect to and I'm afraid we are too banged up. These guys are gonna try and injure Adams and BW. They may even be better than UGA. This one is gonna be another heartbreaker I'm afraid especially since we allowed Wake Forest to kink out armor like they did.

Are you serious? Or you are being sarcastic? Because if you are being serious then you are delusional and may need some medication.

Miami is no where near the level of UGA.

As for chink in armor from Wake Forest read my post a few post up in response to Koon.

And if Notre Dame plays their B game against Miami, the Irish role.
