U less the NIL rules specifically cover this why can't the mandatory donation for season tickets go directly to the athletes. Or at least give the ticket purchaser the option to designate their donation fee for NIL.

Tickets are the service I purchase. Easy peasy. If u gta throw some additional meet and greet BS on it then so be it.

Can Irishenvy buy a NFT and share all the inside stuff that comes with it?

How much are the NFTs being sold for?
Dear Future Irish Players Club Members,

We are officially 5 days away from the launch of the Irish Players Club NFT collection. As an early access member, you will be able to purchase your NFTs at 11am EST on March 1st. The public sale will begin 2 hours later at 1pm EST.

The mint price will be $200 per NFT and you'll be able to purchase using a debit or credit card.

A "roadmap" in the NFT space is used to outline some of the future benefits of ownership. If you haven't checked out the IPC Roadmap, here are some of the highlights:

  • IPC-only spring and fall meet-and-greets with the team
  • IPC-only tailgates (1 NFT = 1 ticket)
  • IPC-only video calls with players, film breakdowns, and Discord channels
  • Access to signed and game-worn memorabilia giveaways
  • Future NFT Airdrops and priority access to future collections

Purchasers will also earn rewards during the original sale, known as the mint, for the following:

  • Mint 1+ NFT: become IPC member
  • Mint 3+ NFTs: free IPC merch bundle
  • Mint 5+ NFTs: 2022 team signed NFT (Summer 2022)
  • Mint 10+ NFTs: signed "hurdle" photo from Logan Diggs

I will likely try to purchase one tomorrow. I dabble in many of the sports related NFTs, and while I have little confidence that I’ll end up making any money on this one, I think it’s a novel enough idea that it’s worth it for me.

You have a Dapper collection? IE NFL AD, Top Shot, etc? I don't expect to make money from the IPC NFT also. But there are so many utility benefits for owning an IPC NFT it's worth spending the money for me.

I do, specifically a pretty big top shot collection! I’ve done most of the Dapper projects, Candy (MLB), Panini Blockchain, Autograph, and also venture into almost all fractional sports cards companies. Have you ventured into those at all?

I agree on the utility here, biggest selling point for me tbh. I want to buy 5+ for the special team nft, but not sure it’ll be worth it.

I have only done NFL AD and starting to dig into Topps. I'm not familiar with Panini, but looked it up and seems really cool.

Panini definitely doesn’t have the quality of experience that NFL AD will have soon, but it’s pretty fun none the less

I understand that the artwork in this instance isn't really the point, and that the artwork is largely just following the aesthetic of the large NFT scams, so I'm not talking shit about Assif or this thing. That being said: Why is all NFT art so ugly?

How long is this project going to fund the players? Will the money run out after a year? Two years? Then it's back to selling more NFT's

I forget which podcast had Assaf on but it sounded like IPC will have portal for players to sign up to perform tasks related to the offerings of IPC to NFT holders. ie. IPC needs 4 players for a jersey signing function and will pay $200 each. Could have this completely wrong though.

If players are getting 75% of the profits then it would be a max of $833,250 available to them (5,555 x $200 x 0.75). If it's only for football scholarship players then it's $9,802 per player. I guess that's ok? I do wonder if they will do specialized NFT's for each player like the "Dante Moore" collection for the star players so there is an extra incentive for them to participate.
