Calling for a grown man's job when he doesn't do exactly what you want is pathetic.
Bullshit this is entertainment if your roquette can’t get the rhythm in the kick line you find one that can. He has two jobs coach and recruit. His receivers haven’t improved and homer friendly beat writers are not being subtle about how far behind he is with 2026 recruiting. Short of smoking scoobie snacks with his players it can’t be worse. And by the way at least the Rastafarian we had last time could recruit.

He's a coach on a CFP team. His job should be safe barring scandal. Go touch grass and delight in the fact that your team just beat its rival and is hosting a playoff game instead of whining about a first year position coach.
Can we get a moratorium on touch grass. Man it’s 26 degrees out and my weather app says feels like 11 and it’s hunting season. Elmer fudds with guns out there. I gonna stay indoors and touch DD 🥜

Brown has coached the receivers up great. Wr recruiting is all NIL $$ anyway. Recruiting will turn around.

I’ll give you Cam Williams but didn’t Brown technically sign him?

Brown whiffed on 25 recruits and I haven't seen that we are in on any great '26 WR either

Trent Mosley is one. Connor Salmin too. Both have ND as perceived leaders.

Mosley was the Off-MVP of the Trinity League as a sophomore.

WR's have blocked pretty well this year, which Brown should get credit for. He also should get dinged for the drops his best players have been plagued by, notably Collins and Faison.

He should get another year and '26 recruiting sets up nicely for him with a brother of a current player (Faison), son of alumni (Mosley) and an on profile fit in Salmin. If something (nil, uncle, etc) goes sideways with these recruitments and he fails to replace them with an equal, he's in jeopardy.

Equally important is developing the young dudes. You want Greathouse and Faison to take another step and each should have a handful of big games as juniors.
The next wave of Gilbert, Williams and Saldate need to contribute, in addition to the couple guys they being in the portal.

I don't see how he gets dinged for a senior wide receiver who had about 90 career receptions before coming to ND, suddenly starts dropping the ball.

Think I read where drops were a bit of an issue at clemson, but at the same time, if he came to ND and Brown helped fix whatever his issue is, that becomes a way the narrative around the wr corps changes.

Is he buddies with MF, any other reason for not cutting ties after this season?

Land a stud from the portal for '25 and I can forgive the weak close

This is good point. I don’t agree with early in the year because the WR screens we’re getting blown up, but they have blocked well the second half of the season.

Did you happen to hear what he did to get the 15 yarder?
I don’t know the specific words, but apparently he very much earned it and really crossed the line. Was screaming “personally insulting expletives” (allegedly) at the ref for an extended period of time. Ironically, there was a flag thrown on the USC secondary on the play lol
