San Jose is real good. If they play to their ability as a team they can beat anyone in a seven game series.

good lord, as objectively as I can be I can say pretty confidently that the entire series was officiated very fairly on both sides, can't think of one really questionable call either way.

I don't think the Stanley Cup is worth rigging...no one watches but Canadians and fans of whatever teams made it. I haven't watched a full game since the Flyers made it.

The Hawks were riding a 4 game losing streak entering the playoffs and looked very sloppy against Nashville. I'd hardly consider that riding a hot streak.

They've been 'the hottest team' for a long ass while now, well before the season ended... I like to think the coaching change just brought out their potential to dominate the shit out of everyone....

But I get it, in these crap shoot playoffs ( nhl, nba, NFL , MLB (sadly) and cbb the best team doesn't win often enough)
