They're certainly playing well but they've already shown this series that they'll lose a game where they drastically out-shoot the Pens and the score is only 1-0 sooooo... wouldn't be surprised if Pens settle in and win this game in the 3rd.

OK wtf is going on.... I swear to go I am the jinxiest of jinxes. Say something bad will happen, Caps get up 5-0. Applaud something good happening, Pens score two goals in a couple seconds. I need to posting/talking/thinking until game 7 is over.

ACAMP it's going to be a tough game tonight, I can't imagine the Pens winning. To many things going against them, and I hope I'm wrong but I'm calling a 4-1 or 5-1 game. Here is my short list of things that don't bode well for the Pens. 1.) Ovie has never made it to the conference finals, and that can't last for ever...especially when I think he is now the 3rd or 4th best player on the team. 2.) The Pens (and Crosby) have absolutely owned the Caps for the last 10 years especially in game 7's, and that can't last forever. 3.) Game 7 at home after erasing a 3-1 deficit. ..GOOD LUCK with that..lol

Yeah I expect about the same, it's usually who is playing the best hockey come playoff time, and finally the Caps have hit that stride at the right time... Unless MAF puts up a huge wall tonight I don't see it happening for us.

This game starts exactly where everything left off... this may be over, the Caps forechecking has just completely flipped this whole series. Pens should've finished off Wash in game 3 when they had a he chance.

Yeah...that is the most Caps way to lose a series. I have a lot of friends who are Caps fans and it is starting to wear on them...I thought it was hard being a Browns fan...yeesh.

I'd be rooting for Ovechkin if it wasn't against the Pens. Tough break for the Caps though, fought back and laid an egg in game 7. This score literally could have been 9-3 Caps, talk about not getting one bounce in your favor. Either way, bring on Ottawa!

That 3rd period was the most "Caps" period of hockey I've ever witnessed. It's like everyone on the ice was internally screaming and panicking as the metaphorical noose tightened around their collective neck.

I'm done. It's just not worth my time watching this team anymore until they show something. I'm not watching another game until it's in a round that has "finals" in the name. They're truly an embarrassment.

I live in Atlanta, and told my son I will take him if it's the Pens and Nashville....Although I'll be in Pittsburgh from the 17th to the 25th of June so I'm not sure when the finals dates are. I try not to look ahead, and jinx things.

Funny thing about jinxing. I continued watching local news after the Preds won the series on Sunday, and the local NBC affiliate had a live feed outside of the arena with a footer that read "Preds make Stanley Cup Final." It's gotten me a little unnerved since then. Haha

I was randomly thinking about my NHL team, which is now a fictional NHL team, as those of us from the Land of Steady Habits often do. It occurred to me: when the Whalers were stolen from Hartford did that franchise (now in Raleigh) undergo the biggest ever drop-off in logo quality among a sports team? I can't think of a worse switch.

In other words, we went from an artistic logo that is unique in using negative space to a toilet flushing. Disgraceful. Bring back the Whale!

Far different feel from last year's run... this team is grinding out wins where last year they were just playing such better hockey than anyone else... but I'll take it. This is going to be a tough series though.
