Headsets weren’t all the Steelers were complaining about post-game | ProFootballTalk

Some serious sour grapes here complaining about a legal move. Trying to get someone to jump on the 1-yard line is something that Belichick emphasizes since it can be a 5 yard penalty for one team or a 6-inch penalty for another team. Some team needs to just shut up and walk into Foxborough and beat them instead of complaining.
"The Patriots understand the rules of football better than we do so WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Boston media conspiracy theory is that the NFL messed with the headsets on purpose to try and make the Patriots look bad.

My favorite part of last night was Big Ben whining "They can't do that" repeatedly after the false start caused by the shift on the goal line. Umm, yes you can Ben. Learn the f'ing rules.

Honest question because I'm not that tech savvy...By now everyone should know the NFL controls all frequencies during a NFL game, so, how could the Patriots, or any home team, mess with headset communication? Is it possible?

Now might also be a good time to point out the Patriots also had trouble with headsets last night. Obviously just another brilliant move by that cheater Bill Belichick.

NFL on headset problems: “Patriots had nothing to do with it” | ProFootballTalk

The ridiculous thing is the chatter that "of course the league is covering for the Patriots again" actually exists, in spite of the fact the league and the team have been at war for eight months. So here we are, in a place where any crazy accusation against the Patriots is believed automatically and there isn't anyone with the authority to correct it. Good job NFL. I'm all about "embrace the hate" and everything, and I like being the Bad Guys. But stupidity also angers me.

And how stupid would it be for the Pats to cheat in the first game after this off season?

It's actually great for the Patriots. Belichick is living rent-free in the brains of every other NFL head coach.

Competitively it is great for the Patriots, and selfishly I actually like being hated. But it is the complete idiocy of this even being an issue that is aggravating.

I agree. It's a joke at this point, and ruins any chance of hearing something meaningful on the radio while driving to work. The last week alone has made me switch to music.

Patriots had nothing to do with it....I wonder if Brady was "generally aware" though?
