The flags and the cheap shots and the knockouts and the fighting aside, does anyone have any idea why the Bengals didn't just kneel and kick a FG and make the Steelers go the length of the field needing a TD with just a minute to go?

This is what I saw. It looks like Pacman grabbed the ref

In hindsight, yes they should have kneeled.

Aside from the bs, this was one hell of a game.

Running it there takes more time off the clock. Getting a first down on 2nd or 3rd down probably allows them to kneel it. I have no issue with the strategy. Hill can't fumble it in that spot. Unacceptable.

No reason Porter should have been on the field. That should have been a penalty. Just craziness.

Why wasn't Porter flagged? When are coaches allowed to go on the field like that?

Right, but running it increases the chance that you put the ball on the ground. I don't know, hindsight is 20/20 but certainly being up 4 with 1:00 left and the Steelers out of TOs would have been better than what happened.

He was probably on the field to tend to his player that was knocked out. Idk

I don't think he was out there looking for a fight

Lol. He was in the Cincy defensive huddle.

A lot of people on my FB feed ripping the Cincy fans for cheering when Ben got hurt. I think the announcers mentioned it at the end as well. I had a friend at the game and he said Shazier was at midfield mocking Bernard's injury. Doesn't make cheering Ben's injury right, but helps explain it. Completely classless game by both teams.

Uh...looking for a fight is exactly what he was doing. Did a good job of it, too, I guess.

OSU alumni. No surprise from Shazier knowing where he went to school.

I've never seen a team do that though. It's not the right move.

I mean... he's not wrong? Like as a neutral fan I have literally no idea how he did not get flagged there.

Joey Porter still wining games for the steel city. LMAO.

If you are dumb enough to get suckered into a flag from a position coach, you deserve to be the fool. I'm totally biased...but still, between Burfict and Jones....couldn't ask for two better guys for this to happen to...

The only people I feel sorry for are Marvin Lewis and his staff. Seriously, you hand the team a W, and they give it back...I thought Lewis' staff did a great job...SMH.

Tyler Eifert needs to get out of that dumpster fire...He'll never get a ring there....ever.

You could smell that Burfict was going to gift 15 yards; it was a completely stupid hit on a play that was clearly overthrown. The guy can't help himself; he's a virtual psychopath. Having said that, Porter should have been flagged. Having said that, the Bengals are completely undisciplined. Having said that, the Steelers were exceptionally lucky.
