Now that Sammy Watkins is basically worthless, I needed another WR.

It is not based on standings. It is based on prior waiver position.

Its a priority position. You basically lower your future priority by putting in a current claim I believe. I'm a FAAB fan myself. Maybe next year?

My RB situation has turned into a full blown emergency. I have Lacy, RMathews... Booker... and thats it. I just traded Matt Jones away last week. I'm in a super competitive 12 team league so there is literally shyte on the waiver. I'm afraid I will be forced to Sell Julio for a 2 for 1 deal in order to survive.

How dire? Who are your RBs? I would not give up both Jones and Meredith for Charles. I would consider just Jones if you are desperate.

RBs are thin on the waiver wire no doubt - while the price looks high on the surface it looks to me like you are not paying for it in production since you have to sit some pretty good WRs - pretty much gave up WR3 to pick up an RB2. Looks like win/win trade to me - although I would have tried to trade Crowder instead of Meredith at this point.

I just traded Marcelus Bennett and Randall Cobb for Philip Rivers. Had Wentz and Prescott at QB, Greg Olsen at TE and Tate, Benjamin, Hurns left at WR so pretty much giving up my WR2 for pretty good QB upgrade. The other guy had Rivers on the bench behind Ryan, junk TE and modest upgrade at WR2/3 with Cobb. Two starters for one bench player for him but he is below 500 and lots of matchups vs top teams so making him better probably improves my playoff chances. At least that is how my thinking goes.

RB is a problem for me - Currently only have Bernard and Miller healthy and just realized they both have week 9 byes. YIKES.

Rawls big bust but can't bring myself to cut him. Picked up Langford on the wire after he got hurt - should be late season big help. Williams is junk unless Bell goes down. Week 9 gonna be interesting. Probably need to work some Rawls/Williams trade for a serviceable back, hope my two stay healthy and get lucky with a vulture in week 9.

I would be surprised by that. Denver has a stout defense. Miller would have to score twice probably for you to lose.
