TomorrowAnybody want to guess when we will get an answer on Ludwig?
Given what has been shown so far, I would be surprised if we would dismiss some coaches in favor of Ludwig’s, especially Harry.

I doubt MF is hiring any coaches to his staff because he was a GA at TSU 2 years ago.I don't think he is going to bring anyone.
The OL coach is already the AHC and has been there 9 years.
The TE coach has been there 7 years and is a Whittingham, so I'm assuming he is related to the HC.
The WR coach has been there 2 years. Maybe he likes him, but maybe he also likes Stuckey.
The RB coach has only been there for one year.
None of those really seem like the type where a coach has a long history with a guy and are a package deal. It might be more of something where we keep those names in mind the next time we would have to replace one of those positions.
They do have a GA that maybe we should get as an analyst. Besides working with Ludwig, the previous year he was a GA at Tennessee State. We shouldn't need an inside source on an FCS team, but it wouldn't hurt when we will be coming back from Ireland and working on a weird schedule.
There is also an analyst that has been with Ludwig for a long time. I bet he comes over.
"Do better" - hmmmm a favorite phrase of a certain analyst that also happens to be the least fit former QB I have ever seen.A midol joke? Really? Come on. Do better. Get some new material and stop focusing on Rees. Maybe talk about the new OC? Either way you’re going to need some new material over the next few months
Like to fly back and pack his belongings, right?I don’t know if this is them just hedging their bets or if it’s actual Intel they’re getting. But per Loy and Prister this morning, people at Utah still expect Ludwig back.
I think the exact quote from Loy was "they're not overly optimistic, but they believe he could end up passing on ND" about the Utahs staffs current feelings.I don’t know if this is them just hedging their bets or if it’s actual Intel they’re getting. This morning Prister said, last night it looked like Ludwig would end up at ND but the Utah people are saying otherwise.I think the exact quote from Loy was "they're not overly optimistic, but they believe he could end up passing on ND" about the Utahs staffs current feelings.
The answer to your question of which is it is going to be can only be answered when Ludwig makes a decision. All of his actions point toward him coming to Notre Dame but yes, Utah believes he could still remain on staff. They aren’t overly optimistic, but they do believe in the end, he could very well decide to pass on Notre Dame. This morning Prister said, last night it looked like Ludwig would end up at ND but the Utah people are saying otherwise.
Only person I trust getting info from on the coaching search is Dinich, ND beat is 50:50 guessing at this point. This morning Prister said, last night it looked like Ludwig would end up at ND but the Utah people are saying otherwise.
Agreed. I'm subscribed to all of the sites, but most are getting the chop after this. Clearly Rees was their source and now they got nothing.Only person I trust getting info from on the coaching search is Dinich, ND beat is 50:50 guessing at this point.
To this point, great Loy/Prister moment on the beat yesterday. People were asking if Ludwig was on that plane from Utah. Loy said something like "I can't confirm for sure, but theres a growing sense it could be." Then Dinich sends out her tweet about confirming it. Loy then takes credit like 2 hours later for saying he confirmed it. It made me legit lol.Loy " I don't know shit, I've been Loy'd, there for I will talk out-of both sides of my mouth while I sit firmly on this fence"

ND better hope he accepts
We're already starting to see this happen. Loy casually dropped a "if he chooses ND, he was on our very first list from the beginning" yesterdayLoy and Prister then just throwing shit against the wall.
Ludwig is personally at ND, hanging with MF, and going to hockey game….but the people back in Utah, who these reporters also don’t know, are a reliable source that he’ll likely decide NOT to come to ND. Makes sense.
Totally clear that they have no idea what is going on and are just “reporting” shit to get the clicks. And then in the end, when Ludwig either comes to ND or stays at Utah, they’ll pat themselves on the back and claim, “I was right and accurate the entire time. Way to go me!”
Just shut up, admit you don’t know anything, and actually “report” when you do know something. There’s no shame in not knowing every single in and out of MF’s interviews.
Oh, but it'll be "not a good look." !!!Or what? We start talking birthdays away? you will stop watching games?
Orrrrrrrr.....
They move on?
Pretty crazy how media loses the pulse of a program when one coach leaves
One thing I respect about ISD is if they don’t have info they don’t post updates just to post.Loy and Prister then just throwing shit against the wall.

Anyone tracking his return flight?
