How many times have we seen guys say they’re not interested or hadn't been contacted only to end up interviewing or get hired? I have no idea if he's interested, but with this being SB week he probably doesn’t want any distractions.

I can sympathize. I live in Stark County. I told my daughter the only two colleges she isn't allowed to attend are Ohio State and Mount Union

Know a guy who’s children went to Mount and he is annoyingly big on Mount Union football. Thankfully I went to school down the road at Walsh U and not Mount Union.

I’m kinda in the camp of it’s Super Bowl week and he’s side stepping (you gotta at least listen). He has a lot of college experience and obviously experience coaching QB’s. It will probably depend on what his options are in the NFL that dictate whether he returns to college. After listening to this podcast Johnson is very high on the list for many. But if he decides to hold out for options we may move on. Obviously the podcast was released before the latest news, so there’s that.

Lewis evidently had a lot of anguish leaving the Midwest accepting the Colorado job. He is also high on many peoples list. I could see him vying to get back regardless of his recent hiring at Colorado (my opinion). It seems Candle may be 50-50 on ND and Miami, he too has Midwest ties. He also has evidently been offered by Miami to stay.

Then there’s Ludwig and Moorehead… Lots to like about the Ludwigs offense because of his balance and coaching experience. Not a lot of news with Moorehead.

It could be timing because of the Super Bowl, but it could also be telling as to when formal interviews take place.

So we know nothing! 😂

If I had to make a list of most likely, I have to go with,

Lewis/Ludwig/Candle - take your pick
Moorehead - this is a bit puzzling, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of traction. And if he was your main guy I’d think it would be done by now.
Johnson - I don’t feel is likely. But again it could be him keeping the noise down.

To be fair, there are quite a few OC positions that are open that he’s supposedly a top candidate to filling including the Eagles, as the assumption is Steichen is hired as a HC.

What is Johnson supposed to say? His response is immaterial-actions after the game will speak volumes.

The Driskell hate is strong here yet many are familiar with him. Huh.... I've listened and he comes across like many posters on IE who share insightful info but a tad narcissistic. Many also seem like Vince (giving everyone a handjob), Ryan (intelligent), and the crew.
