Anybody else think that John Brice is there to be Prister's replacement so Tim can retire?
Only if Tim is ready, I hope. I like Prister's personality and I think he'll be sorely missed. Brice seems like a great addition to their group. I hope Prister can stick with it a while longer but I also want him to enjoy his life so I hope he makes the best decision for himself and his family.

Never thought of it like this, but maybe, or maybe it allows a Tim P to slowly take on less, hand it over to TO/JB down the line?

Interesting thought however. OR, Sampson moves in? Either way, as annoyed as I get by TP at times, I would miss him dearly. II as a collective is the best of the bunch.

Brice seems like he tries so hard to suppress his southern accent. Like it fly man, he's just too nice and polished. Say what you really think man and say it how you normally speak lol

I like TP a lot and hope he stays on as long as he wants to. I just feel like he has alluded to retirement a few times on the POD over the last six months and then along comes JB. If this is what the plan is I think JB is a good replacement but TP will be missed when he does step down.

Even if he retires from the day to day work load I would love for him to continue to do the POD.

Didn’t doubt for a second Driskell claims he was grinding game film when 9/11 happened 🫡

I was talking with my neighbor Vince about how ND could go back to the Holtz era - which was before my time - and for whatever reason he agreed with absolutely everything I said. And before No time, the towers just fell.

Based on odds favorability on neutral field.

His love for Bama is interesting. He was even there to watch them get their ass whooped in person last weekend.

Guys like him are why Bama has gotten in the playoffs without even making their conference championship

At the same time, I think Bama would beat USC but who would you pick beyond that to beat Bama?

Side note, I can't figure out SC. I don't think their defense is nearly as bad as people hoped it would be. They could beat anyone this year and may win it all if healthy.

Any team with a solid defense and a good college QB could beat Alabama. I’d take Georgia, FSU, Michigan, Penn State, and maybe even ND and LSU.

With what I saw on Saturday, I’d be surprised if they don’t lose another game or two. Milroe isn’t taking them anywhere, and we all know what their OC is about.

When is the last time USC beat Utah?

They lost to them twice last year with the Heisman Trophy winner & arguably the best WR in the country.
Every year USC has more talent than anybody on their schedule & still loses 3-4 games a year.
They aren’t winning anything.

When's the last time ND beat OSU? When's the last time ND won a major bowl?

Who cares? Every year each team is different.

If you have 30 minutes and tapped all the ND pods, give this a listen. This is an incredible interview by Manti. Freeman and the recruiting department need to clip the 21 min mark. Manti shining the light on Freeman and the ND network effect.

If they weren't going to get a huge star I would've greatly preferred an old player like Bettis, Brown or Teo.

Te’o said he can’t make it this weekend but will be there for USC game. If Gameday comes back, that’s an easy choice.

I didn’t realize Miles Teller was an ND fan until you posted this…….apparently he picked it up from his father……pretty cool stuff!
I have a colleague who knows him and he loves ND. I told them to take a flight out and come tailgate with us for USC game and he was all about it (although he was drunk in Mexico when he committed to the game plan).

Now that would be a tailgate to remember……hope it comes to fruition and you can give us the scoop!
