My family let me down! My FIL, who is a bigger UC fan than me, bailed for a last-minute golf trip with his friends, content with watching the UC/ND from their rental house during the day.

And if it makes you guys feel better, I was miserable during the entire game.

I thought I'd be happy with whatever happened, whether that was ND taking care of business and figuring some things out, or UC getting a historic win at the expense of my 1A team.

Instead, everything that happened just pissed me off. I was pissed at Jack Coan for that terrible INT to start the game, I was pissed at Tommy for putting Buchner in a bad spot... then I was pissed at UC when they started to blow the game.

I never want them to play each other again lol.

I'd say that automatically makes him less of a fan.

Kind of dull tweet. Didn’t want to distract Bowen’s thread. The reason the Composite makes it a 5 while the others that make it up don’t is because the amount of 5 stars expands as the cycle goes on, so if we fast forward he would indeed be a 5 star based off current position relative to peers.

247s #4 prospect for example, is not a 5 star at the moment

I understand James' argument, but his conclusion based on how the rankings currently work and shake out is opposite the conclusion most would come to.

He's not a 5-star prospect on any of the sites, so you could take the hardline stance that he is NOT a 5-star prospect, because he hasn't earned any individual 5-star ratings.

Or, you could take the stance that when you average out his rating across the 3.5 ratings sites, he's a top-32 prospect, aka projected as a first round pick, aka a 5-star man, just as the 247 composite says. More data is usually better, so I'd fall on the conclusion that he IS a 5-star guys based on all available data.

(Of course, he'll see the modest drop as other prospects rise and as he loses some of the shine of being a highly-regarded multi-sport athlete that is uncommitted and seriously considering an SEC school, probably. Hopefully he pulls a Jaylon and just keeps meeting and surpassing all expectations as evaluation periods move forward, though.)

I've not heard of On3 at all. They've got a yearly subscription special right now for $1, is it worth it? Their cancellation policy is pretty strict so I'd want to know if it's worth it before I end up accidentally spending $100 next year on something not really worth reading.
