I can't speak for NDnation but I can comment on how I have been treated in this forum. I was attacked irrationally for making comments that disagreed with a long time poster here. There was no explain your position or a counter-argument...just a curse word laced get out of this forum attack. So before you go around and judging other forums, you should at least handle yourself in a manner you think you espouse to.

I think your interaction with Wooly had a lot to do with the 2 threads you started out in.. "Crist vs Rees" and "Kelly's Comments".. Both, especially the Tommy thread, have been uncommonly heated and vicious.

This board is generally accepting and fun to be a part of.

You were attacked because you came on here and have done nothing but bash Rees and Coach Kelly. Every post that you have made has been negative and meant to stir the pot. It wasn't irrational at all, it was in fact a very rational response to a troll poster. People have a wide array of views on this site and get in debates all of the time. These always start and end peacefully, so why would this site group together to pick on lil' ol' you?

Like many have told you, trolls like yourself fit in better at NDNation. Go back to your home.

Its why I post here and just read the other stuff. This program is at a crossroads and a jumbotron/field turf/music is ok but not the answer. They need players-simple and to the point. Players that are on campus to win football games and if they so choose -get educated. I'm tired of no one having the $%#@! to say it. You want to compete on the level of the top tier teams with nice educated gentlemen. It does not work. We dont want hoods but I think everyone understands what I mean. I'm tired of Notre Dame doing things like the ''racoon coat days and win one for StateU' while getting pounded in big boy football games. Watch the game this weekend in Alabama-it is an exact micro/copy of the game of '66 between Notre Dame and Mich State. That game had something like 35 guys on the roster of both teams who played pro football. Neither team had many choir boys playing in that game. Let'em, in let 'em play, or you can just keep talking about the graduation rate. If Notre Dame lost $$$$ this would change. And people are fretting over twitter crap/jumbotorons/and field turf-are you kidding me.

This is the issue no one seems to want to really delve deep into. Academic standards have their place, and ND should still give its players a challenging educational experience,
but if you look and see what kind of players ND used to have back in the 70's and 80's you wont see a bunch of academic all-americans, they were ACTUAL all-americans! Dont go SEC,
but dont let academics be the reason to not have a top recruiting class

I just came upon their website a couple of weeks ago and just don't understand the apparent hate some of the people have (moderators included) for Brian Kelly and the entire state of the football program in general. I would expect that kind of thing from a USC or UM board about ND.

Elston has been great for the D-line, but his duties should rest with that group only. In order to free up a staff spot for a special teams coach, one or more positions would need to be consolidated. In my opinion, Cooks and Martin both coaching the secondary (cornerbacks and safeties, respectively) create the dead weight.

Cooks played strong safety, so I'm sure he could handle both safeties and cornerbacks. Since Martin is probably our top assistant, I'd make him D-Coordinator and LB's coach (since he was an LB coach before becoming DC under Kelly at GVSU). This would require firing Diaco and hiring a Special Teams coach. Additionally, Martin may need to relinquish recruiting coordinator responsibilities to focus as DC. Alford would be an excellent choice to take on the recruiting coordinator role.

The other option would be to release Cooks and have Martin coach the entire secondary, however I don't believe Cooks deserves to be fired for performance reasons.

This may have been one of the most ignorant statements I have read really fire diaco really! He has only given up more than 20 points on defense 4 times this year really He is bringing in better recruits one by one fire him really?!

While there is alot of negative comments sometimes. Some are deserved the reason N.B.C gave Notre Dame that contract people want to see about them and they care. I have never and will never be enrolled at this great School but I love this team . I get mad when games like Michigan happen and get happy When we tool on Mich st. . I give myself a day or two before I can even look at this site after A michigan loss because I know people come on here to celebrate the love of Notre Dame . This School is one best in country and everyone who goes here I have great amount of respect for. I'm just hard working Irish Catholic from Boston area I love this school football team. They day Notre Dame is not in the top 25 in college football and nobody says anything. That will be the day the tv contracts and the millions and millions of dollars they make on merchandise will be gone.
