Personally, I feel no one, NO ONE, has the right to tell a woman what she can or can't do with her own body. But ND is a catholic university, and I respect their beliefs. I do wonder though, if catholics believe life begins at conception, and don't believe in birth control, why do they not have 19 kids a piece? A little hypocritical in my opinion.

Someone asked for it...
and as far as the "rythm method" goes, I call BS. It may work for some people, but not all catholics. I do not know ANY catholic families who have more than 4 children. I am not saying they don't exist, I'm saying I don't know any. I just find it a little strange is all.
No one told Roxanne Martino what to do with her body. She held an elected office at America's flagship Catholic university. Evidence came to light that she publicly supports a cause which is inimical to Catholic doctrine. This created a scandal, and she resigned as a result.
Lots of Catholics do use birth control; living up to one's Catholic beliefs isn't easy in our culture. I'd only call it hypocrisy if they publicly denounce birth control and use it privately.
Catholics who adhere to church teaching on the subject practice natural family planning.
Edit: Rhythm is BS. The church doesn't recommend it anymore. I've been married for four years and used NFP the entire time. It works. There are plenty of peer-reviewed studies that have proven it.
Did it ever really say she was pro choice? My understanding was that she gave money to a group that may sometimes back pro choice political candidates.

WTF.
Why would anyone respond to this bullsh!t with a sensable answer?
Pick a fight with whoever you want, k!issme!mabi+ch, but know you will find the hornet you are looking for.
Anyone whos "prochoice" is an accomplice to murder.
MSU Gameday Thread 2010...
Yikes, ok I will exit this thread because this not where I go to talk politics. I have my views and you have yours and that is cool.

I'm pro-aborting threads like this before they get posted....
Agreed, and I wasn't implying they did. Like I said above I respect the Catholic beliefs I do not have to agree with them.
My parents used it (no jokes, please), and quite a few of my friend's parents used it. When I was growing up, there were numerous people that used it. It may not be "fashionable" now, but that doesn't mean it's not being used. You have to be very disciplined to use that method of BC.
