Chase is owning #8 for Clemson. They might want to bring a safety to that side

Clemson is fully outplaying LSU but it doesn’t matter if Burrow keeps hitting these ridiculous passes.

If the spirit of the penalty is to protect the player, then I'm clearly missing something because that hit seemed way more dangerous than the earlier block.

Again you are correct.

The difference between Clemson being up multiple scores and the current score is exactly this. TL is just OFF tonight. Burrow is making the best of his chances.

I would have guessed it's Clemson's 7 5-stars to our 1 (heading into the 2019 season), but ok...

I get it, I do. But, I imagine with the right personnel, we are in the playoffs every year with our current players. It’s that big of a difference.

I think you're selling what they're doing at Bama, Clemson, Georgia, OSU, OU, etc.. short. They're playing a different game man. We're closing the gap, but we're still a mile behind.

I agree, but Burrow is a first year starter at LSU, under a supposed washed up Ed O. What gives? Sure Burrow is an anomaly, but how have we come up short at that position so many times?

Not true - 2nd year starting at LSU. Also, he was a highly rated QB (8th DT QB according to 247 composite) who transfered out from OSU. We're not getting those players.

This has gotta be the GOAT season by Burrow. Absolutely absurd year.

His dad coached for 20 plus years at OU. He grew up with football in his veins and OSU might have really screwed up going with Dwayne Haskins/Justin Feilds... Kids a 5th year senior and the stars have aligned for him..

I definitely appreciate the optimism. But ND has maybe 5 players total that could start on either of these teams. Claypool, Hamilton, Kmet, Kareem, JOK.

My apologies you are right. But he’s still in the Big Game under a supposed washed up HC. No reason to think we shouldn’t have the same success at this point.

And yes, Burrow is lights out. I won’t be surprised when he’s starting for who ever is fortunate enough to draft him. Hopefully not Cleveland.

This. And I'm not even sure about Claypool, TBH.

You wonder why people say the things they do last night and then follow up with this again... Tonight?

I'd say most of the football world would be pretty shocked if he made it past Cincinnati at #1.

So they just honored the 11 greatest players in college football history and like nine of them are running backs.
Of the last 20 Heisman winners, 17 have been quarterbacks.
Amazing how the game has changed.

Cincinnati Fans would probably set the stadium on fire... He grew up 2 hours away. Athens, OH

Just my opinion but it’s over...LSU is going to blow out Clemson in the 2nd half. Get ready for the vomit-inducing “SEC” chants from fans of shitty teams.

Not sure exactly what I’ve said to slight you yet again. I’m not even sure exactly why I care? You seem to be pretty well versed at making quick chop block type statements. Intensional or not. As I said last night if you’ve nothing constructive to add don’t respond. Unless I’ve quoted something you’ve said specifically I don’t care to hear it!

Hats off to Clemson, but I can't get on board with Venables. He consistently coaches his kids to try to hurt the best player on the opposing team... It seems pretty obvious. They aren't clean at all. From urine to play.

Or the Alabama fans saying "we only lost by 4 points" and trying to make a case why they should have been in the playoff....
