NC State Post Game Thread

Didn’t see it yet so figured I’d start it.

Our defense is bad ass.
Give Adams the Heisman.

We ran the ball and wore them down.
We stopped their running game and made them one dimensional.
We are a physical team. I love it.

-Our defense continues to get better. That was a top 20 offense and we figured them out and then shut them down.

-We keep throttling teams, even good ones. 7-1 against the spread now.

-We are better than the vast majority of teams in the top 10. I am scared of no one that is left on our schedule.

-NC State talked tons of smack heading into this game. Their fans and players were cocky AF. Teams would be smart to start respecting us rather than have us teach them that lesson on the field.

If those two are good - we came out injury free against a very physical team.

I've been repeatedly wowed on Saturdays

We rushed for over 300 yards against NC State
Wimbush threw the ball very well with one missed deep ball
We forced a TO and didn't give one up
We responded to early adveristy
We gave up one TD defensively against what many thought was the best offense we faced

Special teams still needs to improve but this is the most gratifying year of ND football in a very long time. More so than 2012 because we barely won most of our games. We are beating down good teams right now.

Yeah my one thought was maybe they realized they were beaten and wanted to save energy for Clemson, but that’d be weak in just a 3 possession game. Maybe our defense is that good that’s how it looked

Doing it by pounding people into submission makes it feel even better. What a time to be Irish.

I loved our D boyz coming back after their big plays and talking back, knowing they’d make plays, and they did. And we dominated like we wanted to.

We ONCE again, took everything they wanted from them and finished it. As of right now, this is pretty close to elite football. Good job ND. Can’t love Saturday’s much more, Thank you!

Our defense gave up 7. that's fucking insane. OK wore down some grown ass men. their S/C is no joke at nc state.

We didn't bully them immediately, but we did over time.

IDK what the stats are but that was Wimbush's best passing game IMO. he stood in the pocket like a pro and didn't over use the run. I really hope he develops his touch on those long balls, and he needs to since we probably won't ever use the middle of the field. He's so close but he has been over throwing all year.

Love is literally elite in the short passing game. He gets beat deep but it hasn't cost us yet. he plays so well I'm the flats and in the hitches though. great pick up by the staff.

Totally disagree. 2 of their DL got hurt. their front 7 isn't as Good as Georgia's, but their DL is and the draft will prove that to you. they were very physical.
