I just can't take his game seriously. Great player at times, but I would hate to be on his team or coach him.

Unwatchable product.

LeBron deserves every response on the internet. Let the Under 40's argue he's better than MJ, Let those of us who saw MJ in real time laugh. Let folks marvel at how good he is at 40, Let the others laugh that he takes off 25 games every year and flops like Fosbury.

He's all these things wrapped into one.

I generally don't watch the NBA, but did watch the Lakers at Dallas last night. WTF was Dallas thinking when they made that trade? Even the fans were chanting to fire the GM. lol

It's not so much him being traded for me, especially if they didn't want to pay him a max contract (even that's stupid to me). But there's no way that's the best offer they could've gotten. The timing was also weird, ratings were low, and all of a sudden a franchise player is gifted to the lakers. I follow the league but I haven't been able to sit through a full game in years. It's such a terrible product now.

Watched a fun game last night in Utah. The benches playing hard had the crowd going.

The Luka trade is horrific and going to the lakers, of all teams, is an extra 5 kicks to the nuts.

I've heard that once the decision to trade him was made, AD was number 1 on their board. Harrison and AD have a prior relationship and Harrison and Pelinka have been buddies for a long time.

Harrison was Kobe's guy at Nike. He watched up close what a psycho worker Kobe was...saw the 2012 Olympic team players change their habits after seeing Kobe's off court work. Harrison values that kind of hard work. I really think the front office believes there was some addition by subtraction with this trade. They are also headed to the 2nd apron and some heavy restrictions on what they can do with signing, trading, and drafting players. So going all in to win now makes sense.

Luka is casual as fuck about everything and he's immature as a professional. He doesn't work out much, and lets his body go (he was 280lbs. right before he was supposed to return from injury). Bitches to the refs WAY more than anyone else and I'm guessing doesn't embody the leadership traits Harrison values in a star. I get it. Luka is difficult, Luka is not a good influence, Luka is not a leader.
I think those are good some pretty good reasons for the trade.

Then I remember Luka can do whatever the fuck he wants on offense. At 26 he's been all-nba 5 times. He is the 2nd best player in the world when at his current peak and he is a generational talent who fell in Dallas' lap because Sacramento is stupid.

You don't trade Luka for anyone but Jokic or Wemby. You just don't.

Given his history, Davis wouldn’t have been the primary guy I would have traded for. He’s always hurt and doesn’t play hard IMO.

I think there is a lot of context when it comes to 7 footers playing "hard". He was the Lakers' best player this season.

That said, I laughed out loud when I heard the Mavericks leak that injury concern was one of the reasons Dallas traded Luka for AD.

His nickname is literally "street clothes". There is no way you can tell me this was in any way a fair deal for Dallas. It was so mind blowing I thought it was a joke when I first saw it.

This is classic. I will recycle this term for the remainder of my days.

Started watching quite a bit more with the Pistons playing better this year. They’re pretty fun and wild.

Some games are unwatchable though. The Celtics game (I know they play “winning” NBA ball) where they hucked up 60 3’s - was hard to enjoy even when the pistons won.

The NBA Playoffs are pure art. What the regular season lacks bc of guys not playing back-to-backs, etc…the playoffs make up for.

The Pacers-Bucks is one of the best new rivalries in the league. Cannot believe the Pacers came back from down nearly three possessions with under :45 left tonight. Giannis getting butthurt trying to fight Ben Mathurin and Hali’s dad after the game made it that much sweeter.

I’ve been watching the Pacers/Bucks. Down by six with under a minute and Being able to tie it in regulation was crazy enough, but to basically duplicate it and win in OT was something else.

I get his Dad sticking up for him and all the "overrated" crap, but Dad has to make better choices. Kind of a douche.

I couldn't figure it out until I saw highlights. It started in the 1st quarter when the Bucks were running out to a 20 point lead. Giannis made a bucket and said something to Halliburton's dad. That in no way shape or form gives his dad the right to do what he did. I'm really surprised someone in security didn't pull him back. More than likely, someone high up in the Pacers office will also be talking to him.

Good for Tyrese for not making any excuses for his dad.

This is the correct take. Grown ass men shouldn't need their dad's sticking up for them after an NBA playoff game.

Tyrese is right, and his dad absolutely should have not been on the court…but the Bucks have been jawing with his dad the entire series. His parents always sit on or near courtside and Bobby Portis and Kevin Porter were constantly going over to him to talk their talk. Giannis got in on it a bit last night, too. Emotional things happen after emotional games, but Giannis seemed to be in his feels after starting the scuffle with Ben Mathurin. The guy missed the game winner and then got blown by by Halliburton to close out the series.

Pat C there intervene - dude is a pro. Doc Rivers ruined the Bucks and NBA is in the bag to get the best player in the league off the small market team.

All day every day

Earlier play called a ridiculous continuation and one for Pacers. Giannis gets mugged consistently with no calls while Lebron's of the world get rewarded for flopping incessantly.

That's a foul but how is that a flagrant? He didn't pull him down or choke him....defender got beat, he prevented an easy shot from a guy who struggles at the FT line.
