It took a last-minute pep talk from family members to switch Carter from LSU to UGA.

Which college disappointed you the most? “Notre Dame was pretty good. I liked them. The assistant coach stayed on me, but I never really got a chance to connect to the head coach (Brian Kelly). Or really (Jimbo Fisher) from Florida State. But if I had built a good relationship with Coach Kelly, I would’ve considered Notre Dame more because it’s a great school for engineering and that’s what I want to major in.”

Lorenzo Carter, interesting. He talked girls with Les Miles, (was going to LSU till his family talked to him before NSD.) And, top recruits make recruiting decisions based on character portraits?

What incredible, mind-numbing bull shit! This case I don't know. But everything indicates it is another case not handled correctly by all authorities in charge. We all in some way pay these people to protect us and our children. And many of these departments and organizations are O-for.

It is great. I know. Rape cases are tough. But allowing people with such intense interest to insert themselves in the middle of these cases is ridiculous.

Also, all such cases should follow federally mandated guidelines of evidence being collected and logged within so many hours of the incident. Yes hours. Over the long term the preservation of evidence that would otherwise be destroyed or missed, would probably save many investigative hours long-term, and help further the determination of the merits of particular case.

Bama offered Brandon Wimbush today. If we never ended up getting Barnett he would have been the QB I would have wanted to go after. PSU was the assumed school to beat maybe this throws a wrench in it.

He would be scary good in that offense for some reason. But no one is beating out Chryst part of the reason we will never have to face off against Josh Rosen.

He has improved his passing skills somewhat but he will need much more work in order to be a threat with his arm. Being Fitzpatrick's teammate may help Bama have a little more of an inside track but in the end I don't think he commits.

On a side note, whispers coming out of T Town that Issac Luatua may be on his way out the door. Bama's current roster has 88 scholly players and it is expected that he, along with McLeod are the two likely candidates to go. If they ever want to play college ball, they probably should. Neither is going to see any meaningful playing time on the field at Bama. Tyren Jones at RB may be another that considers his chances of seeing the field. He is a stud and deserves a shot somewhere if not Bama.
