anyway this is supposed to be YOUR personal take right? If not then my bracket would prob have been much different.

I did some of that. If I was picking purely on objective merit, I probably couldn't advance The Incredibles over Toy Story, but I did it anyway. But I don't think you should pick purely based on what you'd be most likely to watch on any given night. Snow White, for instance, obviously isn't as flashy as the new stuff from Pixar. But it's importance in film history, the technological breakthroughs required to create it, etc. pretty much put it in a class by itself. You've got to take that sort of stuff into account.

I agree with the hybrid approach. I tried watching Snow White last night and it just doesn't hold up unless I'm watching it with my daughter. I recognize its greatness, but I don't especially like it.

- SUPER CINDERELLA 1: (56) The Rescuers Down Under make it to round 4, beating (9) Zootpia, (24) Sleeping Beauty, and (25) The Little Mermaid before losing at the buzzer to (17) Monster's, Inc.

- SUPER CINDERELLA 2: (53) The Sword in the Stone is criminally underseeded, and wreaks havoc on (12) Dumbo and (21) Beauty and the Beast before being halted by (5) Finding Nemo in round 3.

The Princess and the Frog versus Sleeping Beauty was by far the most difficult match-up. Princess and the Frog has better animal sidekicks, Sleeping Beauty has a better villain, Princess and the Frog has better music, Sleeping Beauty has a the Shield of Virtue and the Sword of Truth. Maleficent went down with foul trouble in the second half, allowing Princess and the Frog to secure the victory on the back of Ray the firefly's heroic sacrifice.
