Driver should have swerved to knock a few of them over while they were on the highway, would have been a pile up behind him at those speeds.

Also, driver should have never gotten off the highway.

Yup stay on the highway...traffic cant stop you. I'm sure the guy was freaking out which is completely understandable.

Bikers are 100% completely at fault here. They were causing all sorts of trouble (ie. brake checking) around the city and were basically asking for it.

You surround my car with my wife and kid in it? You're sure as hell I'm getting my family out of there, regardless of who's in my way.

In the video that shows the initial encounter, that's exactly how the first accident happened. The idiot biker got in front of the car and brake checked him. Unfortunetely, he wasn't able to stop fast enough and bumped his tire and throwing him off of his bike. IMO, the injuries he received were well deserved for purposly endangering a family, including a 2 year old child.

Crazy enough, my best friend's dad got in an accident yesterday on his bike. Was ran off of the road by a texting teenager turning right from the left lane. People not paying attention and hitting motorcyclist is a serious problem on US roadways and it's unfortunate that this group of idiots are putting a black eye on the issue. How are bikers suppose to expect non motorcyclist to take the issue serious when there are groups like "Hollywood Stuntz" doing stuff like this? They should take the motorcycle endorsement off of every members DL, as none of them deserve the right.

I would have liked to see the driver jump out of the SUV with a Mossberg pistol-grip and just start street sweepin'

agreed 100%. Damn pitiful thing about it is that there are people in this world that feel sorry for the bikers and think the man did something wrong. There are no lengths that I would not go to in order to protect my wife and children. Too bad he didn't wipe more of the bastards out on the freeway...

Hope he's ok.
Crazy story, my cousin was involved in an accident this AM. It seems to run in the family. We lost my uncle a few years back to a intoxicated and high young woman while he was riding. I was involved in a serious accident a few years back, and my brother just after mine.

He probably didn't intend on getting hit, but he intentionally slowed down to make hiim slam on his breaks. I read an article on these guys and that is what they get a kick out of. Messing with drivers on the road, disturbing traffic (like they did in TS last year) and bullying people on the road.

They openly brag about it.

Well, if this is true, than I retract my statement. My bad. Prosecute them all, they give bikers a bad name.

Edit: After re-reading the posts here and the news stories, **** em. These bastards give bikers a bad name and make it less safe for others on the road. I have treated many motorcycle accidents, many not their fault. This is absurd.

Also didn't expect a neg rep from that first comment... yikes. A little touchy.

There was more than 1 guy riding in that gang that had the ability to initiate police action. I will leave it at that. The lead guy brake checked the family so they could have the highway to perform stunts and such. For those saying he shouldnt have gotten off the highway, this was on the west side highway in manhattan, not your typical wide open freeway or expressway. Tons of traffic up in harlem where this started and ended in Washington heights. Cops received over 200 calls about these skells. Police in NYC do not chase motorcycles btw.
Hate to see people get hurt, but if this were me protecting my family, there would have been a lot more run over than that.
