I can understand how a lot of people are threatened by being judged by the content of their character. This can motivate people to assassinate the character of others as people of low moral character frequently find tearing others down the only way to build themselves up. Being enriched unjustly isn't good enough for some reason, why must the negatively impacted be demonized and marginalized to boot?

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here (I'm really not sure), but you highlighted my use of white.
I only am using white because all we've heard is the "woke left" and this shooter must be from some radicalized left group, etc.
And as far as I can tell, he's not, but just became disillusioned and isolated and finally decided to commit this heinous act.

As far as using white, I'm making the point that until recently, he seems to be just an ordinary white, middle-class kid who went astray.
And yes, I'm saying it could get ugly fast as long as DJT keeps riling up the white (and can even be white supremacists, but I won't say that because I don't know what that group of white guys protesting in Huntington Beach is comprised of, but is even worse IMO if it's just white guys getting angry when the assassination was not an affront to them being white and oppressed).

Sure, maybe there's some political motivation behind the shooting (but unproven right now, and the kid was unregistered and hasn't voted in last two elections, so maybe he just didn't agree w/ Charlie Kirk's values and ideology and so decided to shoot him), but it isn't about Charlie Kirk being a martyr for white folks.

Thousands of rioters from BLM protests were arrested, hundreds were charged and convicted. As they should have been. None were pardoned by President Biden, nor should they have been. They also weren't rioting at the direction of the president for a specific goal. They were morons taking advantage of chaos for personal gain.

Jan 6th rioters overtook our nations capital in an attempt to stop a federal election. Those that were convicted have been pardoned by Trump himself who incited the whole event to try and steal an election.

So yeah. They aren't the same. You're right.

Government censorship of any kind is bad. Period. It sets a precedent that enables them to do it in the future. Careful what you wish for because they will do it again, and at some point, it will inevitably impact you. Censorship is not okay even when it benefits your beliefs - it's a dangerous road to travel.

As far as X goes, it's entirely open sourced for transparency. Until then, he should just divest and let someone else run it temporarily like any other company.
