10 ET. Already started. Twitter has some updates.

The team is among the most focused he's ever coached. They have a will and desire to come to work and become a championship team.

Flemming has taken the next step and is overwhelming the offensive players with is ability to rush and cover.

KLM and EJ will not be playing as many snaps due to the depth along the DL.

Recruiting players who want to play for "Our Lady" and not just concerned with getting into the league.

Floyd is not behind.

Crist and Tommy have free reign of the offense. Hendrix and Golson are playing well but just not ready to run the offense.

Nix, Niklas, Lynch, Tuitt - "physically imposing" ...cutting guys loose

Daniels, McDaniel, GA will play. Not ready mentally, but impressive athletes

BK talks about lack of depth on offense. Will be addressed through recruiting. Says he'll bet his 22 against anyone else (in regards to talent. Although depth is a concern).

Cierre has been a complete back and playing well all through camp

Where the hell did they hide the video? I have looked all over the UND website. Only thing I could find was the 8/15 practice report.

Hopefully they'll put it up later.

In fact, lately they have been taking a little while to post.

Was concerned that BK mentioned Manti's knee as still "hurt".

Earlier this month Kelly said manti's knee was 100 percent so something must have happened.

Kelly also said that 60% of team is "hurt" or in other words, has the usual bumps and bruises associated with camp.

Nothing has happened to Manti's knee. Kelly mentioned it in response to why Manti was held out of spring practice, etc. He basically said that Manti never wants to miss a rep, but the trainers pay close attention to where and when Manti is feeling soreness, and Kelly holds Manti out of drills occasionally on that basis. It's just a precaution; it's also completely normal for a knee that was 'scoped ~8 months ago to be more prone to soreness.

Kelly also said that 60% of team is "hurt" or in other words, has the usual bumps and bruises associated with camp.

Which is a good thing. If the players aren't banged up by this point in fall camp, then they're not hitting hard enough and they'll be soft come the regular season.

Some of you will be apoplectic, to find out that Kelly said any two QB system will feature Crist and Rees, NOT Crist/Rees and Hendrix/Golson. He said that neither Hendrix, nor Golson, allows him to run the offense he wants to run. If either of them are in, they will have packages specifically tailored to them. This tells me that we will only see them, if the outcome of the game has already been decided.

I assume we listened to the same presser, and I understood him to say that Hendrix and Golson aren't able to run the whole offense yet, but he deferred when asked about how/whether he would deploy them on a week-to-week basis, saying that information was tactical in nature.

Kelly was too cute by half with that answer. He basically just reiterated what we all already know; Crist and Rees have separated themselves, so Hendrix and Golson aren't really competing for the starting role anymore.

Toward the end of his answer, Kelly addressed the potential for a "change of pace" QB-- which is what the reporter was really asking about to begin with-- by claiming that he didn't want to give up a tactical advantage for the USF game by revealing that.

Well, the guy flat out asked Kelly if it was safe to assume that a two QB system would look like Crist/Rees, and then Hendrix/Golson, and Kelly flat out said "No!" I think the tactical advantage that he mentioned was what kind of offense they would be running, if you saw Hendrix/Golson in the game.

Actually, no. He was asked if it would be safe to bet that a 2-QB system would be Crist or Rees and Hendrix or Golson, and he said no. He then explained that Crist and Rees could run the whole offense, while Hendrix and Golson cannot.

He did not say whether he would ever play 2 QB's in the same game by choice (obviously if there is an injury he may have to), nevermind who those QB's would or would not be. In my opinion, he was making a not-so-subtle attempt at being coy.

I don't think you can draw any conclusion from what he said, including that neither Hendrix or Golson will be used to run a "change of pace" package.

I always thought he was one of our best linemen. So does that mean AA? haha

I had hoped Robinson would become more comfortable with this offense and allow him to continue the progress we had hoped to see following 2009.

I expect a big, big year from him.

Molnar named Trevor Robinson as the fall camp surprise.

This is really important. Tackles control pocket width, guards depth. That affected some of the quick/look off throws some noted last fall.

Also, guards blocking (and in space) is a prerequisite to a punishing running game. The guards sucked, (mostly because of health issues and not knowing Kelly's offense last year.) If they overcome this year . . .

Again, I put two Kelly comments together: 1). "I'll put my 22 up against anyone's 22 in the country"; and 2). "The offensive line is the strength of the offense". Those two things to me say: our O-line is going to be a ball-cracker.

When you add on to that, that the D-Line and linebackers give that line so much trouble in practice [read: "Darius Fleming sometimes overwhelms an offensive player", and what we ourselves are seeing in film from Nix et al], that says to me that the O-Line may be a ball-cracker but the defensive front is a game destroyer.

We always concentrate on the fancy guys with the ball, but some pretty simple deduction tells me that we will win the line-of-scrimmage nearly every time. We all know what that means as to success.

I liked his comment about it felt like the offense was running a screen every time they cut the defensive line loose. I know he mentioned it was against the 2nd team offense, but still funny.

If I recall he was talking about the 2nd team defense as well. I loved hearing that.

Specifically referring to the super-stud freshman class. Expect lookout blocks this fall from opponents.

(where the linemen say "lookout!" to the qb as our linemen blow by.
