He graduated from Indiana along with his wife (she’s from Indiana). Coached at Avon for a long time.

I think the timing lends to the idea that it's personal & he likely wanted to finish summer workouts & go deal with what he has to deal with.. I hope he's healthy & it's nothing like that.

ha.... This stuff happens with every program, the best ones are prepared and have a plan. It's what leaders do. Supposedly this wasn't a suprise to the coaching staff, so freeman should have a clear plan executing now. He should have learned after the Rees OC debacle.

He was only there one year because Riley brought the Oklahoma guy with him. He's now at Georgia Southern. Not sure what the turnover rate is for S&C coaches and whether his being "only at" Georgia Southern signals any concern over his abilities.
